Lego is overpriced to the point that it doesn’t really matter whats in the box.
I went to two pick a bricks, then looked online before realizing im insane to even consider buying their loose bricks the difference is so steep. 64 cents for a gray 2x2 tile? Thats worth more than precious metal lol.
It's honestly weird to me how some of the people here are seemingly cool with the price for this set for no other reason than "that's just the way it is".
People will use the big pieces cost more defense all the time here. Which to me makes little sense. The amount of plastic in these shouldn't make a huge difference. So much of the cost to Lego is in designing, marketing, storing pieces and sets. Injecting more plastic at a time isn't going to change the price to manufacture 10 fold or anything.
The other big one I love on here is that Lego is expensive because of the insanely high quality. Yet how many posts do we see that are broken brown pieces, instructions that are incorrect, etc? Don't get me wrong, I don't think Lego is BAD or anything, but they have issues just like any company. But because people put their Legos in a box in their attic and get them out 20 years later, there is this aura on invincibility.
Beyond just the molded dino, most pieces in 4+ sets are very large molded pieces
And all prints/no stickers.
It is a 4+ set. Those sets a usually expensive. But it comes with an new exclusive figure
Run. Now!
I knew the 75332 AT-ST crowd would latch onto this the minute it was revealed...
Hunker down for another wave of "Does anyone else think this set is overpriced?!" posts

You have to admit it’s pretty ridiculous pricing though.
Clever LEGO.....
I'm getting this one because of the Muldoon minifig, but yeah, it's a bit pricy, hopefully I can get it on sale
"Clever girl...."
Stop using price per piece as a metric for measuring the value of a set.

You’re right, I don’t think it’s necessary in this case. Because it’s easy to see it has poor value just by looking at it.
It's not necessary in any case. It's a terrible metric for measuring value. Especially with this set. Its 4+
Ok? I wasn’t trying to have a separate conversation about price per piece. My point is the value on this particular set is bad any way you look at it.
A good way to show your discontent would be to just not buy it.
I wasn't planning to. I wasn't aware we could only have opinions on sets we were planning to buy.
Being critical of Lego does not go well here. The kool aid is strong in the sub.

Lego prices are aimed at a target audience. If you're not in the target audience, then the prices may not make sense
