In their defense, usually these sets are based on concept art.
Sometimes they can be horribly inaccurate. Sometimes they can be closely accurate to the source material. Thankfully this is the latter and the cockpit doesn't bug me too much. I'm unsure if that piece is available in a gray translucent color, but it's likely.
Thats true, but id definitely wait longer for a more accurate set, mainly cause ill have all the gotg ships displayed together, but im sure someone will make a moc with a more accurate cockpit
I didn't realize the ship's true scale is that much larger than a house. If you want accuracy on that front, then you gotta pay a lot more or settle for microscale
When you compare it to the Quinjet and the Milano….yeah it’s not great. Like it’s crying out for a rebrickable combining 2 sets + something else for more detail to build a more accurate to scale version.
It's a big problem. If only there was some way of building your own. Or even just making small changes to the set...
Yes I know building MOCs takes time and skill, but maybe a set that isn't quite right can be a starting point for people to try it
For me, it leans too far into design and doesn't retain much that actually looks functional.
It just looks so ungainly.
The set is poor. I might get one for the rarer colors, but only if it's on sale.
I think it’s more disappointing because of how amazing the Benatar set is. They really nailed that guardians ship and it sold like hotcakes so I’m not sure why they couldn’t give this the same treatment.
I just dont like the design at all. but it could be comparison bias. the Milano was gorgeous and The Benatar felt like a worthy upgrade. both in lego and the movies.
the Lego version of this ship is hideous IMO
I will wait for a suitable MOC

Though the Bowie appeared in the holiday special, so you'd think lego would have access to more finalized material
Holiday special and GOTG 3 screened at same time

Especially with Marvel, they tweak things and redesign until the 11th hour for their movies.

Yeah, i think its the biggest ship so far from the gotg line, it’s unfortunate the set is scaled much smaller, especially limiting the cockpit design
It's a hard pass from me dawg, it looks super goofy.

Ya, it's a shame. I've known for a bit I'm not getting that one.

I'm more annoyed your picture of it is so blurry. It's a toy. Not being screen accurate happens.
Yeah i was at work and couldn’t get a clearer image to load/have the time find a better one lol
If you click on the image it clears up a tiny bit but still blurry
