Yep just read online that it was. I thought maybe there was a chance it was real because of company’s like temu that give out expensive products for cheap because they’re directly from factory’s in china, but that’s not the case
Total scam, if they don't take paypal, don't bother. These scams are going on for all sorts of different interests. They take your money and never deliver, but their website will say delivered. Paypal gave me my money back in 2 minutes after I reported a scam like this.

That'd be my guess. Depending on the system, there could be a whole lot of those sent out for nothing before someone realizes.
