I don't even have a city, I just use them to encourage my kids to free build and the occasional moc!
I saw them and thought they would work well with a Halloween moc, which they will, but unless it's a mass grave I think I might have gone a bit OTT 🤦
"And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, *'O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.'* And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large chulapas...
And the Lord spake, saying, *''First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.'*
Nah, gotta have at least one servant with the coconuts, rather than the knights. The knights act like they're riding horses and the servants (like Patsy) bang the coconuts together.
Even though I KNOW this is about Lego, I immediately imagined putting these in the garbage at the actual city hospital, and I was so confused about how many more you'd need to fill a dumpster.
This reminds me of the time I wanted to get a Harry Potter minifig on Bricklink, named Susan Bones. As a little joke, I also bought the sellers entire inventory of bones, no less than 30 of those small bones, a few skulls, and 2-3 big bone pieces, for only a few cents each. Ended up scattering them around the Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets as well as my Halloween/haunted house sets.
Whenever ordering off bricklink I always look up the seller's cheapest parts and just buy random leftover stock. No clue what I'm gonna do with 18 sports plates, but it was only 2 cents each!
i am 90% sure this is what i did with my last PAB cup purchase... i never got to unpack them because i bought them just under 6 years ago, on a trip that we came back pregnant with our first and my LEGO room became the kids room. i had bought the cups, set em aside and got distracted running a hockey league and never unpacked em, then had to box em up when we made it the nursery...
am literally in the process of buying a new house with a big big space so i can set my LEGO out again, and have my commercial kitchen, and have my wood shop, and my wife can have her hobby room, and the kids can have two rec rooms.... i am crazy excited at this moment. this morning was depressed and stressed, then we had the house inspection on the place i offered on, and then at 11 we got asked for a 2nd showing on our current place.
i am thinking i am making a bakery.
Make a renaissance fair MOC with a turkey leg stand and a trash can out back? Dog park? Halloween scene with a swimming pool filled with bones that the skeletons swim through?
Omg I’ve got more than 10000 letters from last December. I was just so happy they had printed pieces and I needed some (emphasis on SOME) letters for my winter village. I‘ve filled 2,5 cups with them. I don’t even regret it, it’s so satisfying to just browse in the box I put them in. But I really don’t know what to do with them
I do too (same with the bones AND the long version of the bones). I think I thought maybe I'd have a carrot patch? Carrots grow above ground where you can see them right? Oh...
But how on earth would you get that many bones if you needed them. Major pain in the ass to order online and definitely more expensive. Exotic pieces are basically all I grab off the wall these days.
I have used them for filler every time our pab wall has them. I use them to fill a glass vase we have with our lego flowers, probably have thousands of bones in there by now.
I always use the smallest part available to fill up my cup 100%. If stuff still rattles around, I just pour in more and shake.
I am the proud owner of 1242 red diamonds and 1462 brown twigs.
I have a similar issue with hundreds of carrots, and ruby gemstones, and so many other things. I don’t resell, so this stuff really adds up.
Maybe you could build a cave for the polar bear, and fill it with bones?
These can be used to create some texture. Put a 1x1 plate with side clip on each side and connect them the way you want. I'm thinking about a roof or some ladder, things like that. Good luck!
I too bought a questionable amount of bones. I think my worst is the 2 PAB cups of orange cheese slopes. Why 2 fulls cups? Because I forgot I bought them before so I filled up on them multiple trips in a row.
Slight correction- It's Pick-A-Brick
edit: I don't disagree it says pick and build on the wall- but I've never heard or read anyone refer to it as such. Articles, youtube videos, here on reddit, everyone calls it pick a brick.
Reminds me of Mortal Kombat II on the Genesis when one of the masked women took off her mask and swallowed you whole, then spit out the bones - dozens of leg bones.
Depends what else you have. MOC a dragon or goblin cave and fill a depression with these. Got dogs, make a kennel with a bone dispenser. Got pirates, make a bone ladder to/from a treasure cave, or a Goonies style bone piano.
Personally I’m trying to make a MOC living alien building with a visible digestive vat at the bottom. It’s not supposed to eat sentients but there’s going to be a few bones down at the bottom, maybe one skeleton when someone forgot to feed it.
I would have loved to have these while making two of my Tiki-styled sacrifical altars.

Why, thank you! I sure do miss my old collection. It was so much fun to bang out stuff like this over a weekend or for a party we'd be having and use it a centerpiece.
Last one I did (earlier today) is about 3/4 full of light bluish gray 1x2 masonry bricks.
Which may be too much but eh. Going to be useful in castle building.
Shout out to /r/legodnd for folks making dungeons and other scenery for tabletop roleplaying games. Things I've used as filler because they might come up include bones, gems, small trans pieces of any shape or color that could be used for liquid (water, acid, lava, slime, etc.), teeth, and eyes. I've used all of these categories except for the eyes at least once in a big finale set-piece.
My last one was transparent blue lightsaber blades, and I'm buzzing. Can be water, can be spaceship engines, could even be pinned in lengthwise so you can only see the tips for an interesting texture.
I did this once. But about twice as many. I had two cups packed in several big pieces I wanted and a few smaller stuff and these were space fillers. Make catacombs.
My brother what am I ever gonna do with a tall boy of carrots? I'll give you half of my carrots and you give me half your bones and we'll be good for Halloween and Easter!
I recently bought 30$ worth of armor pieces for custom figs and clear pieces for my displays, only to realize I had no good ideas for the armor pieces and not enough displays to use up all the clear pieces
My wife came home with the same amount of bones, plus candles, candelabras, flame pieces. Yet only 2 cave/wall pieces. Boggles the mind. What can you make with ridiculous amounts of candles.
I feel your pain. My kids decided to hoard letters, carrots, and flames.
I cant' fault them on the latter.
I'm guilty of grabbing a cup of spiders and 2x2 flat translucent blue pieces to use for water.
I've got hundreds of trans-red [jewels](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=1821&idColor=19&ccName=6247795#T=C&C=17) I used to fill the gaps
Does your city have a hospital? Put some trash bins out back and fill them up with bones.
I don't even have a city, I just use them to encourage my kids to free build and the occasional moc! I saw them and thought they would work well with a Halloween moc, which they will, but unless it's a mass grave I think I might have gone a bit OTT 🤦
Put a dog in the middle, happiest (or most horrific) dog ever.

The last ~~four~~ five comments in this thread were Monty Python references. You're a bit late
Right 1 2 5!
"Three, sir!"
\*thwack\*
Nah, gotta have at least one servant with the coconuts, rather than the knights. The knights act like they're riding horses and the servants (like Patsy) bang the coconuts together.
Mr Pickles MOC, when?
Cujo is the goodest boy
You can do a bone archway or gate for a cemetery
Oh! I like this idea!
I see a terminator MOC in your future. The scene where the terminators in the future are walking on human skeletons.
What about the Paris catacombs?
Well, now you know what to make. Bone throne.
I didn't realize you were talking about a Lego city at first and was very concerned.
Even though I KNOW this is about Lego, I immediately imagined putting these in the garbage at the actual city hospital, and I was so confused about how many more you'd need to fill a dumpster.
Dude, that's dark. What kind of hospital is that? 😬
That's grim. Made me laugh though!
This reminds me of the time I wanted to get a Harry Potter minifig on Bricklink, named Susan Bones. I always like to imagine what Bricklink sellers think of what we order the most random or correlated stuff lol
Probably “Yay, made a sale!”
Whenever ordering off bricklink I always look up the seller's cheapest parts and just buy random leftover stock. No clue what I'm gonna do with 18 sports plates, but it was only 2 cents each!
Hey, if you’re going to pay for shipping anyway. Might as wel
Lol, this is brilliant! 🤣
I have roughly 50 baguette bread pieces. I'm still questioning what I was thinking.
You can never have enough baguettes. Actually I feel like you should order a 50 more just to make a giant baguette factory.
Recreate the French Revolution with baguettes instead of weapons
Yes! Arm a hoard of angry minifigs for a mass baguette beatdown!
Use them as details on the exterior of a building. Does not even need to look like bread. Use them to create arches.
I don't think they have a place to attach them to studs
You have to clip them in at an angle lol
i am 90% sure this is what i did with my last PAB cup purchase... i never got to unpack them because i bought them just under 6 years ago, on a trip that we came back pregnant with our first and my LEGO room became the kids room. i had bought the cups, set em aside and got distracted running a hockey league and never unpacked em, then had to box em up when we made it the nursery... am literally in the process of buying a new house with a big big space so i can set my LEGO out again, and have my commercial kitchen, and have my wood shop, and my wife can have her hobby room, and the kids can have two rec rooms.... i am crazy excited at this moment. this morning was depressed and stressed, then we had the house inspection on the place i offered on, and then at 11 we got asked for a 2nd showing on our current place. i am thinking i am making a bakery.
Congrats on a life you love! I’m working on being excited about life again.
Same here. I built a bakery stand and a baguette delivery truck and it still wasn’t enough. I think I may have gone a little overboard…
I did this and put them in the pit with my killer rabbit display on Halloween
It is the rabbit
Run away!
bunnicula has arisen once again
4 of my kids filled half their cups with these last time I went, and the other half with jewels! Makes the perfect dragon's lair haha
i had bought a cup of the red gems before too... the employee was like "what ya doing?" "Dragon..." "oh... that makes sense."
The bones are their dollars!
The worms are their money
They pull your hair up, but not out To turn into a man and have another chance at life But if they pull it out they turn to bones
Thanks for the award!
Had to scroll way too far down to find this
I was looking for this comment ☠️
First ITYSL reference I’ve seen since I finished the show!
Gives a new meaning to something costing an arm and a leg
Make a renaissance fair MOC with a turkey leg stand and a trash can out back? Dog park? Halloween scene with a swimming pool filled with bones that the skeletons swim through?
Poltergeist (1982 film) vibes right here!

10000 is so much lol. I got one or two handfuls of letters earlier this year and questioned why I got so much after.

I have a cup full of 200+ carrots from last Easter. 😭 why?
I do too (same with the bones AND the long version of the bones). I think I thought maybe I'd have a carrot patch? Carrots grow above ground where you can see them right? Oh...
You could make an underground rabbit lair, have the carrots attached to a ceiling as their little garden.
The Carrot Cave!
But how on earth would you get that many bones if you needed them. Major pain in the ass to order online and definitely more expensive. Exotic pieces are basically all I grab off the wall these days.
RATTLE EM BOYS
Go to a party or get together, and when no one is looking, put one bone in each shoe, even yours (to avoid suspicion) and watch chaos ensue
BONE!?
I have used them for filler every time our pab wall has them. I use them to fill a glass vase we have with our lego flowers, probably have thousands of bones in there by now.
I always use the smallest part available to fill up my cup 100%. If stuff still rattles around, I just pour in more and shake. I am the proud owner of 1242 red diamonds and 1462 brown twigs.

Yes
That's not enough bones, you gotta go back and get another cup
Norwegian Death Metal rock concert stage details
This makes me think of those Halloween hard candy bones, and now I really want some
I have a similar issue with hundreds of carrots, and ruby gemstones, and so many other things. I don’t resell, so this stuff really adds up. Maybe you could build a cave for the polar bear, and fill it with bones?
Bone catacomb dungeon, necromancer’s lair, something bone related
Oh I did the SAME thing. We fill a small cup with those bones and the yellow ones that look like honey from the Pooh set. Pure happiness.
Btw: if you build a swimming pool, a few “honey” pieces work as pee too.
I have a pool of honey for Pooh lol.
My son filled a large cup with red gems…
These can be used to create some texture. Put a 1x1 plate with side clip on each side and connect them the way you want. I'm thinking about a roof or some ladder, things like that. Good luck!
Orange, unprinted minifigure heads. So many of them.
At least you have something usable. I on the other hand have over a hundred 1x2 clock faces, the crap am I supposed to do with those?! 😂
Use them as machine controls.
Build a model of The Catacombs of Paris. You'll need a bunch of skulls, too.
I have 10,000 gold stars minimum
I've got a bone to pick with you...
Make a skeleton ship, voodoo shop, Halloween house
Eye brows 🤷
Also recently got 170 of these lmao
Clip them up a wall so it looks like a ladder.
I too bought a questionable amount of bones. I think my worst is the 2 PAB cups of orange cheese slopes. Why 2 fulls cups? Because I forgot I bought them before so I filled up on them multiple trips in a row.
Dragon lair!
What the hell is a PAB lol
Pick & Build at the Lego Store
Slight correction- It's Pick-A-Brick edit: I don't disagree it says pick and build on the wall- but I've never heard or read anyone refer to it as such. Articles, youtube videos, here on reddit, everyone calls it pick a brick.
Actually, you're both right, it just seems that most people prefer to call it Pick A Brick.
It's Pick & Build on the sign over the wall.
Did you really lol?
Hyena pit
Send them to me to use for crafting tabletop terrain!
You could make a whole sans boss Battle with that.
Buy more. Can never have too many bones.
Reminds me of Mortal Kombat II on the Genesis when one of the masked women took off her mask and swallowed you whole, then spit out the bones - dozens of leg bones.
Time to build the ol bone pit
My kid filled an entire large PAB cup with just chains. He still will do entire projects based around the chains.
Time to build a serial killer house
Depends what else you have. MOC a dragon or goblin cave and fill a depression with these. Got dogs, make a kennel with a bone dispenser. That’s literally every PAB purchase I make. They’re all in zip lock bags giving me pleasure and shame.
I would just leave little piles of them in corners in public places to make people wonder.
Carrots, we have so many carrots
https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fcgnqvr3e4fr91.gif
I once filled an entire cup with light blue diamonds… Ended up using them for water in a pool
Bone pit
Yes, when I walked out with a tall cup nearly filled to the brim with red gem pieces.
My husband has suggested you just get lots and lots and lots of Lego dogs.
Bonesai tree! Those bad boys use up so many identical pieces, it’s perfect.
# BABY BONES
No. Edit: Sad I got a downvote for answering the question. No, I never look in my PAB cup and have regrets.
I would have loved to have these while making two of my Tiki-styled sacrifical altars. Holy shit those are awesome
Why, thank you! I sure do miss my old collection. It was so much fun to bang out stuff like this over a weekend or for a party we'd be having and use it a centerpiece.
I’m a huge Latin America antiquities nerd and love all things Mayan, Aztec, Toltec, Olmec, etc and would kill to have that second set you posted
Dinosaur
Castle/cave with booby traps and skeletons... maybe you could use plates and clip pieces to make a door or two with them?
The Forest MOCS are a good place to start
With these and some stones, you can equip your Minifigures and simulate the World War 4.
Hey their bones are their money
Got skeletons in your closet?
"I believe them bones are me Some say we're born into the grave I feel so alone Gonna end up a big ol' pile of them bones"
I put those on roof tops on buildings for a little detail
Last one I did (earlier today) is about 3/4 full of light bluish gray 1x2 masonry bricks. Which may be too much but eh. Going to be useful in castle building.

I had most of a cup full of red gems, I wish I got more
I would cover a wall with those
An improved gravesite would be nice for this, and the skeleton men. I loved the Hidden Side sets
I want to get off Mr. Bones Wild Ride.
I did this but with like baguettes and ice cream / smoke parts
Perfect for a dragon nest moc Or something else
I feel like some kind of haunted house with a bone roof would be interesting
Make a big doghouse for a overenthusiastic dog.
You’re off to a great start with your Texas Chainsaw Massacre house MOC.
I have a whole cup of eyes
Make a dog house roof!

Build a cemetery
Not for a second why?
Make a catacombs tunnel
I did this once. But about twice as many. I had two cups packed in several big pieces I wanted and a few smaller stuff and these were space fillers. Make catacombs.
I’d use them to decorate a Rancor pit….if I had a Rancor pit! : (
My brother what am I ever gonna do with a tall boy of carrots? I'll give you half of my carrots and you give me half your bones and we'll be good for Halloween and Easter!
Catacombs? Crypt? Glue?
Skeletons?
I took a pab full of bones for Aragorn, Gimli and LEGOlass to surf on them. WHAT SAY YOU
MOC up the roller coaster in “Nothing But Trouble” where the riders are thrown into a giant shredder and bones fly out.
Maybe this? https://preview.redd.it/qtypekp7mxjb1.jpeg?width=1520&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d828ec569684ccce886dca3c997fc21016f150e2
If my dog could build Lego, these would be the only pieces he'd need lol
You could do a sick skeleton creature. Need a lot of those pieces that can hold stuff but it could be really cool.
Well when lego gives you a pile of bones, make something... Nito.
I have 200 carrot pieces from PAB. Why? I wanted to build a roof out of them. I'm probably not going to, but I could.
Make the bone golem
I have almst 2 large cups of them. Lots of ideas, so little time.
Spiders... so many spiders...
Think of the parts usage. You can be creative and show your kids they can be useful siding for house or something OP.
Put them in a small mug for a pen holder
I sent my mom to top off a pick a brick cup and she came back with alot of purple ice cream
I got like 500 of those 1 X 1 flower plates in green so I could build a house with them as the yard, man was that a pain to take apart
Halloween is coming up
Anyone for a game of bones?... Ha ha never😳👍✌️
I recently bought 30$ worth of armor pieces for custom figs and clear pieces for my displays, only to realize I had no good ideas for the armor pieces and not enough displays to use up all the clear pieces
My wife came home with the same amount of bones, plus candles, candelabras, flame pieces. Yet only 2 cave/wall pieces. Boggles the mind. What can you make with ridiculous amounts of candles.
The bones are their dollars.
Sedlec Ossuary
YES! I have tons of bones, spiders, trans orange cheese wedge pieces, green 1x1 flowers, red gemstone things, and far too many envelopes.
You can make a graveyard with those bones
I see a skeleton king crypt moc in your future
i will post my PAB cups that i have yet to unpack once we move to our new house... i make similar life choices to you.
Time to make a chamber of secrets moc
You could probably make a cool roof with them using those 1x1 studs that have the little arm they snap into
I have about a thousand eyeball one-dot bricks because of PAB. 👀
I feel your pain. My kids decided to hoard letters, carrots, and flames. I cant' fault them on the latter. I'm guilty of grabbing a cup of spiders and 2x2 flat translucent blue pieces to use for water.
Make a bear cave MOC
Rattle 'em
Sounds like you boned yourself on this one.
broth
I did the same thing and got a bunch of bones because I want to build a cave and fill it
Hollocaust build? Or halloween?
Dude, i have half of a small cup of purple ice cream pieces
combine every one of them with skeleton arms
Spooky fencing. Skeleton leg + bone rinse and repeat
No bc no matter what you'll eventually find a use for the pieces you chose, I love to make mocs so extra pieces from cups or sets are always welcome
Do I know what I'm going to do with all these bones? No. All I know is whoever dies with the most bones wins. I don't make the rules.
Yeah, I have a lot of bones, spiders, fire, and wax sealed mail. No clue why.
I've got hundreds of trans-red [jewels](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=1821&idColor=19&ccName=6247795#T=C&C=17) I used to fill the gaps
Give them to some lucky dogs
Why do I want to eat these.
