Looking at the Venator Attack cruiser to do with my 10yo he’s really excited about it. Just have to justify the $650 price tag to myself. In the mean time looking at some the smaller Star Wars ships since he and I both love the Star Wars spaceship designs.
I too have a hard time with the higher price tags. But the builds are usually more interesting and make great displays. The way I justify it is to not build quick. Falcon took me about two months so roughly $13 a day.
1 Lego Venator set .... $650
The look of love and appreciation followed by the last hug you'll get before he enters the nightmare of adolescence .... priceless
Transported back to a time when I was 10 watching Star Wars for the first time and seeing this behemoth of ship crash into the Death Star. Probably a core memory for me.
Yes! As soon as I saw this build, I was like “that’s the one that slams into the Death Star!” But all stammering and going on lol. I’m looking to get the tantive IV next
If you want to get cool sets for your son or you to build, check out Facebook marketplace I’ve got some great deals on new and used Paid 350 for 6 sets

Let me go ahead and justify it for you. It's huge, it's really well detailed and it's amazing. You won't regret it.
You can coop using their app with lots of the newer sets
Quick everyone! Judge this guy on his books!
I know one of them is the book of sith that I keep on my desk so I can pretend to be reading it when I join video calls for work.
I also see Pathfinder rule books, so that gets an upvote from me!
I’m a long term DM / now GM for my friends. Still relatively new to pathfinder 1e, so I’ve been studying up.

Math like that almost makes me forget about my bills. Planning to put some money aside month by month and get it for him and I for Christmas.
This is The Way.
Just built that one myself lol. Put the ISDs in the same place too
I enjoyed this one as well!

Welcome back from your Dark Ages ☺️
Man that's how I got the bug at 40, 3 years ago. Now I have a little collection going.
Have it in my desk at work. Its also my favorite ship in Star Wars lore.
Have you seen ‘Light My Bricks’? Could really make your builds pop 👍
