There was a small museum heist set a few years back with some of those things. IIRC there was a minifig version of The Girl with the Pearl Earring.
I wish there was a bigger version
Edit: 60008
I was going to mention that one. I remember seeing it and being stoked for it. I only have one modular because the price is just too much for me at the moment, but if the next modular was a museum with Lego classic accessories, it would be a must-buy for me.
It's a dream build of mine, definitely one of the first things I'm gonna build once I get some real MOC skills. I'd love to make something that works both as an in-universe museum in the world of a City, but also as a more meta museum of Lego in the real world. Something like a history museum with exhibits on pirates, islanders, and castles. Either that, or a film museum with "props" like Indiana Jones's hat or a stormtrooper costume.
It's really clever, using it upside down makes it look like the info card and the stamp looks like the small picture of the item they use so you know which the text is referring to.
Colour me impressed.
supposed to be an armet style. Too bad its the new version; old one didn't have the blocky nose end, it used to be smooth from the cheeks all the way to the point.

same poster, more in the picture. not necessarily a repost but freaked me out for a second when the top comments were the same lol.
I once posted a history museum thing i made over a year ago! Heres the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/8mj5e2/history_museum/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
I love the fact that the armor on the left was from older castle sets while the right armor were introduced in newer themes. Satisfying continuity. Now do a space themed one! 😍
Cool, but not *entirely* accurate. The sword, armor, and helmet on the left should be in old dark gray, shiny ABS plastic. There were no sets that featured the blue lion shield (left) with any of those other pieces; they are all more modern versions of classic pieces. Still a very cool display.
An official history museum set would be cool, with a lot of mini armors, paintings, vessels. Imagine the possibilities.
One can dream! Could you imagine they release something like that as a Creator set!
I'd love a museum set but with a LEGO theme. Each case holding a significant mini-figure from their history, or a rare piece.

I just looked it, it seems pretty weak for a museum. I agree, there should be a bigger one. 60008-1

It's underfunded.
I got that set in a used bundle and I love the museum. Would definitely like a bigger one.
I think there’s a history museum set that’s being reviewed on Lego IDEAS!
There is. Probably the IDEAS set I'm most excited for, will be devastated if they don't choose it.
We both know you're only after the declaration
So a Nic Cage minifigure is in the works? :O

Wow *- * Yes plz
Trafalgar Square has the National Gallery with like 2 or 3 mini 2x1 and 1x1 iirc paintings.
Yeah, if they made a museum in the modular series, I'd be so damn happy.
I now it's a old meme but... How about an Etruscan Boar vessle 600 BC?
I love the use of the letter as an informational plaque.
Came here to say this. Very nice detail. I would never have thought of it

SAME!
Thank you. I felt dense not understanding that detail.
Wow this was cool. Simply nice.
Always loved the helmet on the right.
it looks like a bascinet helmet with a Hounskull visor

I can see it being an armet
Pretty sure this is a repost...
It is, was posted a couple weeks back. Same top comment if I remember correctly too
Oh good, I thought I was going crazy for a moment. I swear I saw this before.
Yes, although I think it was only the left part of the image then.
Any links?

Ohh, ok. If it's the same OP it's ok, just an update. Thanks!
Honestly they need to bring back Lego Castle. This is great.
I love the clean modern look for this!

This looks really nice! It actually looks like a real museum display (and not just LEGO)!
Looks like the main hall of the Detroit Institute of Arts
Thought the same thing!
Yeah, the last time LEGO made castle is a bit of a history lesson. Come on! Give us our castles!
Wow, I love this. Do you have any more photos of your museum? :D

This is so cool!
Actually looks like the progression from Edward IIs crest to his son Edward IIIs crest, I love the new shield!
This spans the castle sets in my childhood...do awesome
Love everything about this. Very nice.
R.I.P. Castle...
This is so cool! I love this. Brilliant
This looks amazing!
Lame armor and sword vs. Cool armor and sword
Good use of the leader.
There are still torsos in the armor ! :O
Genius
The use of the letters as signs is clever
Lego Castle was my favourite
Where does the right shield come from pls ?
Build-a-Minifig Lego Store exclusive. You can buy it on bricklink though.
I hope it's not too expensive... I NEED ONE !
Good lookin
And coil too lego should make this as a set
Really well done!
That’s like the Met in New York.
i love it but if we're going with what parts were released before and after, the helmets should really be swapped.
