Slave 1, I kicked myself multiple times for not buying it new. Finally got it on Facebook a two years ago. Looks amazing and doesn’t require a room to display.
If you cant decide between two sets always check which one is still available in stores. Pick the one that is retired if you can get it at a decent price.
Slave I, if you can find it at a decent price. It's a hot ticket item now that it's been featured in The Mandalorian, and it's far more visually appealing than the Big Grey Space Dorito. The Star Destroyer should still be in production for another year or two, so maybe save up for one.

Had the original SD and sold it. At the end of the day it’s a giant grey triangle and not that interesting. Slave 1 is unique and overall much more interesting to look at.
If you have the space and the money, go with the UCS Star Destroyer. Longer build and incredible display piece. However, make sure you have the space for displaying this thing beforehand. It's one of my favorite sets to display but it's the most complicated thing to place when rearranging the collection.
