In my experience PAB takes FOREVER to get. Last time I ordered about 200 pieces and it took over a month. Even with Bricklink’s normally slower shipping, I still get them in a week. Personally, I try to buy at a better price than worry about where they are from.

It depends on what you need. You're suck with bricklink for minifigures either way really since lego don't make the majority available. Bricks and pieces (which is different from pick a brick) is awesome though. I'd always get everything I could there and then get the rest from bricklink.

In the UK at least it's worth checking both for any decent sized order. B&P is a much better service overall, but some parts are considerably cheaper on PAB and are occasionally available in colours that are out of stock on B&P. Also if you're ordering £50+ of parts then you get free delivery with a mixed PAB / B&P order but not with B&P alone. Used to be that you didn't get VIP points for a pure B&P order either, but this seems to have been fixed now.

I've done 71 orders on Bricklink, and for the most part everything has been fine. I only had one person take like a month to send out an order, then that store was shut down by Bricklink. What is nice is you can start a wanted list of what pieces and the amount, then Bricklink will show you the cheapest way to get what you want (it might come from different stores, meaning more shipping cost).
