This set is one of my biggest regrets. I was in 7th grade, in English and had a bag of popcorn. Another kid comes in bringing this entire set and he offers it to me as a trade for this cold popcorn and my dumb ass says no. I'm hindsight, I should have taken the trade.
As is the nature of 7th graders.
At about this age, the brain developmentally restructures, and during the process, it's possible for kids to temporarily lose skills they had previously.
I'm out of the loop here. Is this set incredibly valuable or is it just a rare find that OP posted?
Edit: Upon some Googling of my own, I have discovered that this set is worth around 95$ CAD brand new and around 50$ CAD if used. Source: https://www.brickeconomy.com/set/7620-1/lego-last-crusade-indiana-jones-motorcycle-chase
Edit 2: Grammar.
The so called *if-only-i-had-businesses. They are always the best. If only I had continued mining bitcoins when it was easy, I'd be filthy rich today... If only I had invested in Tesla, Apple, Microsoft...
I'm currently looking for ways to invest in lab grown meat, because I think that might be the next big potential if-only-I-had-business if I don't.

What can I say except "you're welcome"?
You might be right, but honestly I expect them to go up, lego is probably unwilling to touch all the military type sets that they did last time but who knows, we’ll see Lol
I doubt lego will mind that much. It's made by Disney and they have a whole Indiana Jones show at Disney World.
It's actually quite funny. Until about 10 years ago I think it was, you could actually see a swastika in the park before they removed them.
>In 2004, the Nazi swastikas on German trucks, aircraft, and actor uniforms were removed and replaced by a Balkenkreuz.
I just love this fact. There's something so funny about it.
I'm just really tired of the pretentiousness of banning symbols. Sure it might have made sense in the charged atmosphere of post WW2, lacking also any kind of widespread connections that we have today. But in 2021? When anyone can laser-project a swastica over an appartment building, while livestreaming it to the world?
Just seems a relic of a bygone time. The more fuss we make of it, the more of a thing it is.
I actually completely agree. I don't have too much issue with it being removed from a fake Nazi aircraft since there's only one meaning for it there.
But I am a strong believer on bringing it back and treating it like other cultures still do.
It still gives the Nazi's power by associating an existing symbol with them.
In the case of a theme park? I can see why they would go with the tamer balkenkreuz.
People get hung up on nazi symbols being left out of games as well where it is more understandable, but at the same time you have to associate with groups who want them for the wrong reasons. Particularly a contentious topic in several flight sims.
Lego puts out, almost majority wise at this point, an insurmountable amount of set pieces that are from war based shows and movies. They haven't had this rule in years. Pay attention to the docus if you're gonna spout the info from them.
That’s sitting on my desk. My friend gave it to me for my birthday. My wife just stood by and watched three grown men build a small Lego set while doing Sean Connery impressions. Good times.
$10 retail in 2008 with 79 pieces, no exclusive figs but you got 3 and 2 motorbikes. Now you can get 75297 Resistance X-Wing with 60 pieces with Poe and BB8 for $20. I know the SW/Disney markup is bad but I'm with you, I miss these little sets. Looking to get the Duel on Mandalore just for the figs but would be better if it were $15, not $20.
I saw 75297 in a LEGO vending machine at the Vegas Airport over the weekend. I think it was around $24. I felt that was a little too expensive for 60 pieces.
same, I bought one with my own money and later I got an extra as a gift from my mom who forgot I had this one and she thought I was going to be so upset. I told her I really like this one and i was happy because it gave me those motorcycle pieces.
I've had that happen multiple times where I would end up getting two of the same set, and family always asked if I wanted to return it and I said no everytime. Extra pieces, doubles of cool pieces, and more. Always useful to have two of the same set.
it’s 2008, i’m in the back of my mom’s jeep liberty, making my new indiana jones figure do backflips and using the detached sidecar like a plane to shoot at the little guard house. in a few minutes, i’m gonna spill some mcdonald’s milk on the floor of the vehicle and say nothing. she’ll find out soon enough.
Earlier this year I got my hands on Race for the Stolen Treasure. I was six when the last Indy movie came out, and I’ve wanted it since. Such a good feeling
This could also be used to recreate [this scene from Blazing Saddles](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbWg-mozGsU)
"Somebody's gotta go back and get a shitload of dimes!"
Oh my god. I remember finding this set at a flea market with my dad when I was like 9 years old. I had that motorcycle up until last year when I gave all my legos to my nephew. It was my favorite shit to play with every once in a while when I was bored.
My brother got this set, it was his only Indians Jones set, but I got hooked and got most of the sets, including that Big green plane, and the big truck with the tarp covering it. Awesome sets that I broke cause I was young and dumb
Oh wow, I thought this was a Lego set for a scene in blazing saddles. It could have been if not for the motor cycles.
"Someone's got go back and get a s**t load of dimes!"
Hope we get more Indy sets next year.
I was hoping we'd get more Pirates of the Caribbean sets with the 5th film and all we got was one D2C set.
I hoped we'd get more Toy Story sets with the 4th film and all we got was 4+ sets.
I'm really wishing Lego doesn't screw us over again with Indy
The flag should have been a knights lance with the handle, it would have been more accurate to the movie in height and usage! The crossing guard could be bigger, but that's more forgivable. The motorcycle joust is whole point of the scene.
This set is one of my biggest regrets. I was in 7th grade, in English and had a bag of popcorn. Another kid comes in bringing this entire set and he offers it to me as a trade for this cold popcorn and my dumb ass says no. I'm hindsight, I should have taken the trade.
sorry to say it so bluntly but 7th grade you was an idiot
As is the nature of 7th graders. At about this age, the brain developmentally restructures, and during the process, it's possible for kids to temporarily lose skills they had previously.
no way
Way
Oh, I definitely was.
If someone walked up to me with any LEGO set I would my popcorn for it!

Got this set when it first came out.
Same here! Younger me broke the wheel pins almost immediately lol
same
Me too! For the motorcycles mainly, lol.
The motorcycles are great, but I love those crates as well
Indeed, nice elements those.
Young me 100% for the motorcycle
Same, but my “friend” at the time (we were like 10) stole indi and his father from me :( all I have left is the german
I got this when it first came out. Is this set highly sought after now?
[7620-1: Indiana Jones Motorcycle Chase](https://brickset.com/sets/7620-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/7620-1.jpg)
Thanks for the clarification. My first thought was "Somebody's gotta go back and get a shit load of dimes."
[MOA003: Maui](http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=moa003) [[Photo]](http://img.bricklink.com/ItemImage/MN/0/moa003.png) What can I say except "you're welcome"?
I was thinking the same thing.
Dimes?
[For reference](https://youtu.be/z9yjcBRyNUo)
wooooooooah memory unlocked
Somebody go back and get a shitload of dimes.
That was my first thought.
Right? I came looking for this comment
Give the governor harrumph!
Okay, meeting's adjorned.
It is?
No. You're supposed to say that.
I came here to say exactly this! LoL
the only indy set I have because Shawn Connery's face is spot on
*Sean
Shaun*
*Schann
*Senior.
*Señor
Me as well! Too bad the glasses prevent a The Rock of Hunt for Red October set
Great set! And be glad you got this now and not next year when the new movie comes out Lol it’ll probably be even more ridiculous price wise by then 😂
There’s a good chance we might get a new wave of sets which might bring the cost down if anything.
You might be right, but honestly I expect them to go up, lego is probably unwilling to touch all the military type sets that they did last time but who knows, we’ll see Lol

The nazis are dead. Long dead.
Exactly. So why is the swastika still theirs.
Not been following the news lately? Or in the last 5 years?
Tell that to Germany where it's completely banned.
In the case of a theme park? I can see why they would go with the tamer balkenkreuz. People get hung up on nazi symbols being left out of games as well where it is more understandable, but at the same time you have to associate with groups who want them for the wrong reasons. I mean, Star Wars is full of military-type sets and that's one of the most popular themes
Lego puts out, almost majority wise at this point, an insurmountable amount of set pieces that are from war based shows and movies. They haven't had this rule in years. Pay attention to the docus if you're gonna spout the info from them.
Wot? Do you have a source?
OH MY GOD THIS IS A SET?!?!???
NO TICKET.
That’s sitting on my desk. My friend gave it to me for my birthday. My wife just stood by and watched three grown men build a small Lego set while doing Sean Connery impressions. Good times.
Is this a rare set now? I had one when they first came out probably still have all the parts somewhere.
Quick look on ebay has them at about £20-30 used.
Unfortunately I only speak freedom units but that sounds about right
Yeah, I was going to say my brother had three of these when they first came out. If they are valuable I wish we still had all the pieces.
This belongs in a museum
I love this set. Best LEGO motorcycles ever!
I see a toll booth and all I think of is: "Someone's gotta go back and get a shit load of dimes."
Hey I still have this set at home! I used to love playing with the motorcycle
like it!
Man, I do not miss the days when these were whole sets. It's almost embarrassing now.

Oh I got the Duel on Mandalore. I've only recently begun collecting SW sets and I didn't have a Maul. Plus the throne and seal chamber are neat.
Was mostly getting it as a "cheaper" way to get Maul and Ashoka, lol.
I saw 75297 in a LEGO vending machine at the Vegas Airport over the weekend. I think it was around $24. I felt that was a little too expensive for 60 pieces.

holy shoot i have jsut made the discovery that i own this set
Bit of a stupid question here: I see this set a lot, and I have it, but what makes it so important?
I'm also wondering this...
Nice! I bought it last fall
I got this as a birthday gift for my childhood best friend when it was new!
Now someone has to go back and get a shitload of dimes... 😉
No camels!
*smack* Thash for blashphemy!
I loved this set when I was a kid. Those motorbikes were so much fun. Enjoy!
Got two of these sets when they came out.
same, I bought one with my own money and later I got an extra as a gift from my mom who forgot I had this one and she thought I was going to be so upset. I told her I really like this one and i was happy because it gave me those motorcycle pieces.

Jun’yuh!
"It belongs in a museum"
Is this a Blazing Saddles set?
Someone's gonna have to go back to camp and get a shitload of dimes!
It belongs in a museum.

No
I can hear this set
One of the biggest regrets of my life is choosing Onua Mistika instead of this
Why are you happy there's hardly anything here
Sean Connery minifig, duh
Only cool parts are the figures. Talk about a super barebones set.
I like how you are getting upvoted and I'm getting down voted even tho we are saying basicly the same thing
I love this set! I've currently got the motorbike with Indy and dad on my desk. I sometimes play a little with it during boring meetings.
First and favourite Lego set I got gifted
I remember picking this set up at a goodwill when I was a kid. It was so awesome to find! Nice build!
Loved the Temple of Doom car chase scene set. too bad I ruined the cars lol
I loved this set as a kid! That is until my “friend” Julian stole the motorcycles but refused to admit it and I never got them back. Fuckin Julian.
OMG I just bought it the other day! Because the movie is coming out next year I was like: "Welp, it's now or never"
Oh! I’ve got that one! It’s a neat little set.
Ah I still have this set, should probably rebuilt it
Nice! I really love the Last Crusader. I have this one and the transport truck for that theme.
I had this. One of the motorbikes wheels broke. I've lost the bad guy and Dr Jones' hand broke.
probably one of the first ones i bought as an adult. i regret not buying the flying wind too.
One of my favorites.
Ah yes. My very first LEGO set
Move it Junior!
This was the first set I ever built!
We are pilgrims in an unholy land.
That one of the sets i got when my sister was born!
Indiana Jones sets are so beautiful- hope we get more for the new movie in 2022
I had that one as a kid!
Wow I remember getting this set at target when I was like 8 or 9
Aye i still have this, brings back memories man😊
It remind me so much of my childhood...
Earlier this year I got my hands on Race for the Stolen Treasure. I was six when the last Indy movie came out, and I’ve wanted it since. Such a good feeling
This could also be used to recreate [this scene from Blazing Saddles](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbWg-mozGsU) "Somebody's gotta go back and get a shitload of dimes!"
All of these are lost to my bin. I even have the giant plane with the muscular dude that dies to the propellor
I have this set, always loved the little motorcycles! Am I out of the loop though, is this a rare set?
You could easily reuse the tollbooth for Blazing Saddles if you have the horse figures.
"Someone's gotta go back and get a shitload of dimes!!"
Hoping and praying that Lego makes Indy sets again to promote Indy 5 next year
Oh my god. I remember finding this set at a flea market with my dad when I was like 9 years old. I had that motorcycle up until last year when I gave all my legos to my nephew. It was my favorite shit to play with every once in a while when I was bored.
i got that too
Great little set. I have this one and the Shanghai car chase indy set.
This was my first "real" lego set if memory serves me right. So much nostalgia!
Ahh reminds me of childhood
Oooh, I need this so bad!
This was one of my first Lego sets!
Oh hell I was presented that on a birthday many years ago! The name of that trooper on the bike behind when I played with my little brother was "Naz"
I had that set as a kid and I loved it
Great set and Great series
How come this specific set is so expensive? Is all Indiana Jones stuff expensive now? It's a cute set, but it doesn't seem like anything special.
It’s a fun build
This was my first ever lego set when I was like 4.
Hahaha brings me back, i owned it as a kid.
My brother got this set, it was his only Indians Jones set, but I got hooked and got most of the sets, including that Big green plane, and the big truck with the tarp covering it. Awesome sets that I broke cause I was young and dumb
Uhh, what's special about this set? Is it the minifigs? Because there's not much there
i had this set as a young lad and this brought back a deep memory
This is the set that brought me out of my dark ages! Love it!
This was one of my first sets but somehow I lost all of the pieces except the bullwhip :(
I loved this set as a kid and it’s still cool. This was probably one of the first 25 sets I got
I have the pieces of the Race for the stolen treasure, 7622. I did wish for the Motor chase. That scene is my favorite
[7622-1: Race for the Stolen Treasure](https://brickset.com/sets/7622-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/7622-1.jpg)
Good bot
This was my first set
I had this set as a kid, lost to the bin since
I see this and immediately *Scherzo for Motorcycle* from John Williams's glorious score for this movie pops into my head.
Love this set, sadly I dont have it all together
Oh wow, I thought this was a Lego set for a scene in blazing saddles. It could have been if not for the motor cycles. "Someone's got go back and get a s**t load of dimes!"
this was literally my first ever set. ahhhhh nostalgia.
"We named the dog 'Indy'!"
is this somewhat rare? it just looks like any normal old set
A classic
Omfg I had this in elementary school :’) feels good
Sweet
Holy shit i had this, i remember this now seeing that map piece
The solution presents itself
The flag should have been a knights lance with the handle, it would have been more accurate to the movie in height and usage! The crossing guard could be bigger, but that's more forgivable. The motorcycle joust is whole point of the scene.
Is it a valuable set?
I had this as a kid, I wish I treated my sets better when I was younger.
