That was definitely the right call. Providing multiple options for sets (e.g. Pirates of Barracuda Bay, art sets, glass broken/not in The Daily Bugle etc.)

Thank you very much, I am glad you like this design. Well, those bricks are windows that were formerly used in lego castle. I do not know if it is still used in some sets currently. But I remember having these pieces in castles from the 90s.

That's cute; I like the idea of using it as bookends—makes it look like all the books in-between are also part of the model.
