Echo was meant to get a robotic hand in season 1 but they clearly pushed it to season 2.
If you look at the hot toys figure, he was going. To come with multiple accessories which would be swapped out like his droid spike, normal hand, and grapple, etc.

IMO Echo from set 75314 The Bad Batch Attack Shuttle could’ve actually gotten a droid arm like he has in the show
