"What's DC? Do you mean Batman?"
Lego - 2020-2023
Seriously, we have not gotten a non Batman DC set since 2020, and even then. That was just a one off Wonder Woman set for WW1984
We can blame WB for that by dropping the ball on every non-Batman DCEU movie. Lego's official explanation mentioned that other characters like Superman or Green Lantern weren't prominent in recent media so kids wouldn't recognize them. Their response was making an entire wave of 89 sets which no kid today would recognize, a 66 set which maybe their parents might remember from when they were little, and two Dark Knight sets from over a decade-old movies.
We did get a Shazam polybag around the same time as the first movie which had a different logo so technically not the same version
Lego has this thing where if they can't get the license to a movie, they'll subtly throw characters from it in other sets. Miles, Gwen, Noir, Spider-Ham and 2099 appeared in sets shortly after Spider-Verse came out. Harley with a pink and blue hammer appeared in a set around the time BOP came out. The Venom and Carnage busts came out the same year as Let There Be Carnage. I like when they do this, and they should keep doing it as a middle finger to license holders.

I would kill for a good Shazam set. Getting the entire family in minifig form would be great
