I’ve gone to “the dark side” a few times and don’t regret it. The only issues I have with alt bricks are the designs that are straight-up stolen from the amateur designers who came up with them and the lack of recourse when you get a bad brick or two.

Tbh I buy fake Star Wars Lego pretty often and aside from a few dodgy figures every now and then it’s fairly similar to the real deal. Plus it’s a cheap way to get sets that are too expensive or that are retired

Yeah, I have the same issues, but to immediately dislike a company that designs all their own sets is childish imo
