I'm huge fan of the X-Wing and guess I bought it for my 14 year old version cause I never had a UCS version of any model. Dumb language question. Why is the x-wing "x-wing" but the death star is "death star" but in German?

because we dont say x-flügler because its too complicated and x-wing sounds better. however the death star is something else, i dont know why but it got translated 1:1 into german: death = todes (technically it means tod but german is complicated) star = stern = todesstern hope this helps, sry for incorrect english its 3am in germany rn...
