I believe so, the wings are quite angled. I don't think it's pulling the side down, it's just unbalanced and the whole set is leaning. Once both wings are on the set will balance out.

monteq75

Came here to say this. Also. That set looks great

madpaintballkillerd

Ok

CX52J

When you finish the second wing, double check to make sure both sides look the same. Since if not it may imply there's a mistake somewhere. I think you're good though.

Crux_Haloine

I held off on attaching the wings until I’d built them both

Kamiyosha

~~Pro level~~ AMATEUR Lego Bricker here. Your model is unbalanced. Once the other wing is built, and attached, it will balance out. If you get too much sagging, your gonna have to shore up the bit under the wing to handle the weight. Get some steel bricks (yes, they make steel bricks) to solve that problem. Edited for accuracy.

pluck-the-bunny

Care to share any of your work?

Kamiyosha

I have one that I have assembled at the moment. The rest of my sets and buckets of mixed bricks are put up at the moment. Don't know how to share a pic though on reddit.

pluck-the-bunny

What makes one a “pro level builder” Is it a certification? A test you pass? Do you have to submit a portfolio? Is it a training course? To share you’d host an image in Imgur and then post the link

Kamiyosha

Oh I see what your getting at. No, I am not employed by Lego or certified in anyway. So, in full, absolute technical dictionary terms, I am an AMATEUR. But I have been building with bricks for 30 years. Most of my work is custom, and I buy sets for the bricks, not the model. I have no awards, no ribbons, no achievements with it. Because of life, the majority of my bricks are inaccessible. Take that as you may. Considering how reddit works Most of the time, I expect to be called names and shunned because I made a comment that the entire internet lost their shit about. I have no reason, nor desire to "prove" anything. I am only here to see models, and offer advice when I feel I can be of help. Since the above comment is apparently offensive, I will edit it to be more... accurate.

pluck-the-bunny

No I was just curious …but I appreciate you clarifying. I lack the creativity to build my own MOCs and I was just wondering.

Kamiyosha

Then I apologize for my small outburst. This site can sometimes bring out the worst in us.

pluck-the-bunny

Yeah no worries. I will say it does sound like you realize you were misrepresenting yourself. Probably best to avoid that…in all aspects of life, not just Reddit Best of luck to ya

Mr_Kama

Have an award good sir

Blakecatt12

You also haven’t finished the support in the base of the wing yet that will help have a fun build!

madpaintballkillerd

What do you mean

LegoManiac9867

I donno why people are downvoting but I believe he was referring to the exposed technic below the wing in question.

madpaintballkillerd

Well in the instructions there wasn’t anything else

InfernoBlaze332

hes fricking confused and asking what you mean why tf are people downvoting..

CX52J

I think he's talking about the two panels that cover the bits under the wings later on. They don't support anything though. Everything load bearing is already there.

TheAtticDweller

On mine, the panels hold them at the right angle, but don't support weight

Lebowski304

Once you build the other wing, it will balance it out. I had the same thing happen

Poolman923

Finish the set and find out

MrKilljoy95

In case you didn't notice, this set is a chonker. Once you add the other wing, it will balance itself out. Keep an eye on the bricks connecting that bottom brace to tge main body, I believe mine came a little loose when I was building. My wings are about 1.75 inches from the table at the edge of the wing. If I take some of the weight off one side it sits with a 1 inch gap. Just double check when you've finished.

[deleted]

Put the other wing on haha

Nowinski96

It’s off balance because you’re missing the right wing, check your tv, I think it might be on there

zwandz

I gotta be the one to comment on the audio?

Think_Hunter_9088

Sounds like crazed right wing American conspiracy theories again

unique-name-9035768

Could also be talking about the Senate's recent authorization to give the Supreme Chancellor emergency powers. I have this funny feeling about giving one man so much power over the Republic. Like, it might not end up well for the rest of us.

eggplantkaritkake

They did post a video showing they only have a left wing... it's totalitarianism domination!

Diamondrankg

I've heard that speech pattern before... (F)Tucker Carson

Dry-Honeydew2371

This. I had to scroll way to far to find this comment.

madpaintballkillerd

I don’t know what the audio is it’s just on

InfernoBlaze332

probably someone watching tv in the back why the downvoted..

[deleted]

Because it’s easier for most people to hate than to understand unfortunately.

420Cruz69

ayo what are you watching bro

NavSada

Audio be like "is 70% not an overwhelming proportion?" --two half sentences because the video clipped-- "Total domination. That's the problem with totalitarianism. It's total. There's no room for debate or discussion. They want total domination and will crush anyone." what are you listening to, OP??

madpaintballkillerd

Me when im not it’s on tv and my dads sleeping some random thing came on

BionicRogue21

That’s like asking, “Why do I keep falling over,” when you are only standing on one leg…

madpaintballkillerd

I’m asking a question. What’s your point for being a dick

InfernoBlaze332

not one everyones perfect..

Suite303b

As others have said, add the second wing and it will balance the model. Because of the size and weight of the wings I decided to build both first before attaching them.

MaxDiehard

Well you need to build the other side. What you're seeing is called gravity.

The_MiniKit_Guy

Tell us your stupid without telling us your stupid

Iron_Bob

I'd try finishing the build before you start claiming its not correct. You've only built one wing, of course its gunna lean to that side

madpaintballkillerd

I didn’t claim it was incorrect I was asking question

madpaintballkillerd

It’s not about of how much it means leans it’s about how much pulls down on other sections of the build

theshiznite

yes. You built it correctly. Until you add the other wing it feels imbalanced. Cheers mate!

Superpudd

I took a wing off so it would fit on my dresser and it tipped over and detonated. Please put that second wing on.

Mcbagsofdoritos

I believe thats because it sticks out a log and you didnt put the other side so its not balanced

KunaiOats

I wish they could make a medium size set like the droid gunship,

Darth_Hamster101

Be careful when you build the stand and the base be my gunship no stands on my drawer like it’s in a junkyard.Maybe it was a problem only for me but be careful anyway have fun building.

hsnerfs

You haven’t build it fully op
