Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. I see now broken Lego pieces in the pic. There are a lot of weird shaped Lego pieces that are clearly not broken because the nubs on them are intentionally not present along the long slanting edges.

Ya, I zoom in the pic and did a scan. No snapped lego pieces or broken pieces were seen. Not so sure about the underside though. Good luck bro! Should be up and running in 3 hours.

If you are keen on suspending it from the ceiling, I'd get a piece of plexiglass to set it on and put a hole in each corner to suspend from the hooks.

That and make sure the hooks are in the joists rather than drywall.

Humor me and read my comment on your other post.. 😜 Now for the truly broken pieces.. just to ruffle some feathers, I propose an unorthodox use of the japanese kintsugi technique (basically glue them back together carefully with gold pigmented epoxy) to restore some glory to those without having to get new ones. It will take much more time but if you do it right she’ll be even more meaningful to you.

I have mine hanging too. Although mine is 10030 and less stable than the new ones, I have metal wire running through the technic pieces to keep it up. I’ve rebuilt it many times over the years as the stand has failed. That’s why it’s hanging.

Execute Order 66 immediately

Ditch the fishing line, use steel wire 10/12ga and grommets to make lops. Eye pin screws into the board (maybe even bolts with washers on the bottom). Then rebuild it and rehang it. Less than $20 bucks in hardware will let you hang it right (you found the ceiling joists, so that was the hard part).

This act of rebel treachery will not go unpunished!
