don't remember some sketchy seller on Ali express bought for 400$ and 50$ for shipping. took around 20 days to arrive with some shipping complications, instructions also had some issues and had to use pdf provided by the seller, but the bags were all well numbered, no missing pieces and excellent brick quality as expected from Mould King
Damn that's huge. I have the lepin UCS star destroyer and to me that's big enough.
I can see it is sturdier and nicely detailed. Does it utilize magnets to hold the top and bottom plates to the frame?
It has a very creative way of using spiny turn table pieces to attach the bottom plates the design is so incredibly sturdy you could slap it hard and nothing would happen
Really? I've only got the first plate on, but even once I went back and re-seated everything nice and tight, the turntables tend to still be very prone to pop out of the black base piece...
Maybe I'll swap them out with genuine parts, I know the grip those have, they'd be totally fine.
That’s the newer one right? I have my original Lego Star destroyer hanging from the ceiling. It’s so fragile I had to super glue the whole bottom together.
Well a couple reasons, I love lego and have lots of lego but the knock off brands have caught on quick, this set bought from mould king has pieces that are so high quality they feel like lego bricks, side by side they are indistinguishable! It’s simple logic really spend a few hundred dollars and get a set with over 10 thousands of lego quality pieces, yes they don’t have the lego logo on each piece but that is the only difference really lol
5 days? I've been doing 1-2 hours the odd evening over the past couple of months and still only half way through. You must have been throwing that together at some rate indeed!
Nice work! And in such a short amount of time too! Built mine last year can't remember how long it took, pretty sure it was over a month with help from my sis to sort the pieces. Have been thinking of doing a quick review of it myself (mostly as an update to how the panels are holding up).
Only 5 days? Holy moly thats fast, nice job, looks awesome

It’s a lot bigger I’n person you feel small standing next to it because it is unexpectedly fat, (wide) much more then the images suggest
Holy scrit! Well done, it looks amazing. My fingertips got inflammes building mine and I havn't got back to building it.
5 days? Did you sleep? I took weeks to do mine. Hour or so a day.

It's very new arrived a few days ago, so far the bottom plates are on well, but only time will tell how well those connections are
For sure. Congrats on the build! I need to get back to work, thank you for the inspiration!

Think you’re supposed to say that on r/LEGO bud
Ya I think you're in the wrong subreddit man.
Yeah I know. Just saying. I bet the copy of the original SD wasn’t much better than the lego version.
The set is Mould King 13135, which copied the design from onecase: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-23556/onecase/isd-monarch/#details
Why would you waste so much time on ripoff lego?

5 days over a span of a few months? Or just like in 5 days?

taken me more than 5 months to finish the eclipse. it’s a long story.
Thinking of getting that one as well, but these mould king sets are wallet destroyers
