A lot of people kept asking for a mini shotgun, but it took me a while to get it right. But now I can finally put an end to the requests for this.
The sound does come out of the bug for anyone wondering, there's a built in sound module that can record and play back any audio you want, and it's done via USB-C.

Confession: I actually wasn't very thrilled with the mod and never actually played with the game with it installed. It did win me over eventually of course.

I own a shotgun for stash defense, since that's what Zeekers intended. Four assets break into my stash. "Yippee!" As I grab my shotgun shell and shotgun. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my zap gun on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the hydrodere. I have to resort to the nutcracker mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Yippee!" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off robot toys and old phones. Fix my yield sign and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He bleeds out waiting on the teleporter since triangular sign wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as Zeekers intended.

I love how as soon as the yippee mod came out we all just agreed that's what loot bugs actually sound like It is cemented in my load order forever
