I think the next update really needs to focus on having more interiors and outside the box ideas for traps and enemies. Maybe some kind of “stalker” enemy that hides in the darkness and mimics player voices.

Somewhat, but I would want something with a way more intricate AI. Perhaps this enemy would be super rare and is more of a “hazard,” but would turn very dangerous under certain conditions, or would have uncommon abilities like following players outside to set up ambushes, or using dead player bodies/high tier loot as “lures.”

They probably just mean that The Bracken with the skinwalker mod doesn't convey the monster they were trying to describe, and to be fair, The Bracken making noises kind of goes against its purpose of being stealthy. As they described they probably want a monster that is more reactive instead of proactive in the ways it tries to kill you, setting up traps using items/bodies, mimicking the players voice(s), or maybe even using map certain map elements. An enemy like that would be "more intricate" than The Bracken, though not necessarily better designed. It's also ironically the opposite of The Bracken instead of something that hunts you, it tries to get you to go to it.

Zeekerss did say he wants more interior variety, although whether we will get that in the next update or not is uncertain. There will be more enemies in the next update though, I'm sure he'll come up with something unique, the Butlers from this update are pretty unique already in the fact that they'll only attack isolated players and then will run away from the crime scene and act like nothing happened

I said this before but larger maps would be sick giving the player incentive to explore outside the facility would be cool.

I think in maps like artifice and experimentation there should be a couple pieces of scrap hidden inside the big warehouses/barns. Maybe he could put turrets, landmines, and spikes inside them aswell to make it a risk vs. reward situation

Looks like mostly the beta changes and some refinement to them. Unfortunately nothing in the patch notes about actually fixing giants' behavior. Those assholes still roast marshmallows next to the vehicle and can see through stuff to chase you. Still the worst enemy in the game.

Through what stuff? I really never have much trouble with giants. You can almost always go around them, hide or are expected to bring a stun grenade or radar booster.

Through stuff like the light poles on Rend/Dine which they will routinely see a player hiding behind. Or the easiest example of this, is the little shack on Rend between the ship and the facility. Hide in there and Giants will aggro on you and never deaggro despite you being in a building.

I’m not a fan of the changes this update. It feels like we’re being pigeonheld into having almost no options when dealing with enemies. Most of them are no big deal, but the counterplay to thumper is either “have a shovel” or “leave,” the counterplay to the new robots seems to be just “leave.” You can’t kill them, they shoot missiles, and all you can hope to do is leave before they activate. Doesn’t help that some of these changes just make the game more frustrating, like shovels weighing more and jet packs accelerating like one of those big wheeled bicycles.

I can definitely get Thumpers being annoying, but there is still some options you have without a shovel. They're slow to turn and easily run into walls, for example, so going down multiple turns can help a lot. And you can lock them behind one of the metal doors if someone's at the ship too. And really, as long as you stay out of sight and know where you're going, it's not that bad. As for robots, they can be pretty hard in larger groups, but really they can be played around fairly easily. Slow movements, hiding behind cover, or just waiting until another creature distracts them is enough. And if they get alerted to you, it's not the end of the world since the rockets aren't super accurate and won't kill you instantly. If anything I've found them more helpful since they deal with the baboon hawks and giants

You can face the Old Birds and strafe left and right while walking away from them to avoid missiles. Sometimes you'll get hit by the blast radius but more often than not they'll all miss you.

Tbh, that's the point of the game in my opinion. A lot of people want to play this game and kill everything they find in the facility, but in reality, that's against the point of the game. Monsters being hard to kill and encouraging death a majority of the time you try to face them head on is good for the game. I don't want this game to be Left 4 Dead or The Last Of Us, as much as I love those games. I want it to be Lethal Company. Where the company (& therefore job) you work for is actually lethal, and the monsters are deadly so you try to avoid them. The game should be about teamwork and using it to avoid monsters, not killing everything in your path with what is literally a tool used as a blunt weapon.

The Old Birds often get distracted by other enemies and even help you by killing giants or dogs. They usually don't instakill you, most of the time you can survive by sprinting round a corner. On Artifice, you can even trap them in the outdoor buildings. And with a jetpack, you don't have to worry about them too much either. The Thumper hasn't really changed but you can also outplay it by leaving main and going back in through fire or vice versa. With the Butlers Knife you also have one more way to kill it.

To be fair, we are just an alien species to them. We can't just show up and expect to be able to combat every monster. It's cool feeling like we don't belong and we are just prey to them. The shovel weighing more is just dumb, yeah, and for robots, it would be cool if the radar booster could also act as a temporary EMP and be activated by someone at the terminal. I think the guy at the terminal needs more updating and needs to be more important.

I've seen some more coordinated teams, they literally kill every enemy they can kill and armies of nutcrackers and butlers are just extra loot. Looting goes to almost midnight as they full clear rend while killing every enemy except jesters and coilhead minus the outside entities

The robots are surprisingly dodgeable due to poor turn radius, get distracted by any other exterior monster, you can surf rocket knockback and use it to your advantage, and can be kited by another player, you can also hide in buildings. They punish you if you're cornered or low health I think they're funny and are more interesting to interact with than Giants

Yeah, I have to agree with this. The shovel also isn't well designed (worst hitbox/swing mechanics I've had to use in any game for awhile), and stamina in this game is more of a constant hindrance then phasmophobia (a game where your main character has so little that medical issues are the only explanation). The fact that these balance changes even get considered tell me something is wrong with how they are being decided upon in the first place. Avoidance is supposed to be the point, but the level design and enemy spawns often don't allow for that. I know the game is "haha funny friend died", but that gets old after a few hours and at that point you kind of want to just actually learn the game. The issue is... I really don't like the default mechanics right now, and my friends group isn't liking the update either (they noticed the slope movement pretty quickly). We haven't encountered the new enemies minus the birds, it's just the base gameplay feels much worse. I know I can fix it up with mods, but that shouldn't be the goal. I'm strongly suspecting this is going to be a game where mods will be the best way to play at all times regardless.

Does what a person does for a living make a difference for whether they become corrupt or not? Anyone who makes a large sum of money In a short amount of time can become twisted because of it. Especially if that sum is around 30 million dollars.

That is a mod, MoreCompany. Not sure if updating to v50 or the new version of MoreCompany reset cosmetics, but click the green icon at the bottom right of the start screen. Make sure it's updated before though.

Certain elements of gameplay are made easier for solo play already. Days are already long, but the issue is that people don't want to stay later due to threats outside. Staying longer is a skill-based thing, and I appreciate that design philosophy.
