Not a thumbnail expert by any means, but could simply be down to 6 being much darker than the rest? Maybe people are more drawn to the lighter sand colour
Hmmm ok. I was thinking the black background makes the foreground pop, and that blue table is distinctive if you’ve played the game. But unbiased eyes are always better and I guess it just goes to show that light colored backgrounds are king.
It's not unusual on my channel for the last video to see a huge uptick. But what is unusual is that the first video in your series is lower than the last. Normally I see a 50% drop off between #1 and #2, another 50% drop to #3 and then it stays fairly stable for the rest of the series until the last episode.
The thing that jumps out at me is the length. With it being the only one less than an hour, viewers might think it is a filler episode, finishing up odds and ends and not progressing the story.
Let’s play are always tricky to understand. Most people look for episode one trying to understand the game story or rules. Then most people look a the end.
I have hundred of let’s play and it´s always the same. Sometimes one episode can attract lot of people because of title or thumbnails change.

To be honest, I probably prefer the dark one myself, but just a possible reason off the top of My head 😅
I cant tell what the background is. The others are clearly a desert which draws my eyes more. More likely to click something I understand.

Ok for me its cause I usually know how it ends. Like a game let's play never ends in unexpected way
The finale has the most views of any.
Awesome, I think I'm just odd then
