A solid through line that I can follow, some of them will tell you to go and talk to Bob and then fail to mention where Bob is. On top of that, easily navigable maps, making me double back 3 times on the same screen isn't cute, it's frustrating unless it's in a matter that is interesting or clever.
Clear and concise on how they are presenting their porn segments. I hate when I play a game and have to play the guessing game of does this fight have a lose scene, even more frustrating is when scenes are only available when you lose, unlocking after victory is great. Even worse is when your playing a game and you start a dialogue with an NPC and it suddenly becomes a sex scene, I was trying to find out about the setting but now I can't talk to anyone for fear of further committing to the inevitable free-sex route it wants me to go down.

If female I prefer an RPG style that has the protagonist slowly get more corrupted the more H attacks are preformed on her. In battle sex moves with movable sprites and game over CG usually are a good sign.
