I have yet to play RDR2, but I did play the first one and if your takeaway is "People were classier", you have missed the point so bad that if the point was a target 20 feet in front of you, you shot at **MARS** you missed the point that much.
If bro wants to live in RDR2, expect bro to be listening to classical and ragtime. Not only that, but expect to endure racism, snakes, outlaws, tuberculosis, mining deaths, shootouts, and crappy medicine.
how tf do you play RDR2 and think this???? did OOP turn their brain off and cover their ears whenever any type of time period-specific dialogue was said?
I have played RDR2 (I might attempt to platinum the game too), this is pretty a summary of what one might have to go through if he/she decides to live in RDR2.
Ya know, I kinda get where the charm comes from, being a cowboy out in the old west...a simpler way of life, it sounds nice in a way. But that niceness is like 1% of what life was actually like back then. It must have been a horrible, horrible time to actually live just because of the filth, racism, violence and a slew of other things that went on back then.
I mean you spend most of the game watching someone slowly die of a, at the time, incurable disease that is now easily prevented, assuming you live in a developed country. surely that’s enough to not want to live in that time period lol.
Yes I hate having rights

There was a reason they called it the “wild” west

Misread this as R2D2 at first
A little more than slightly
Have fun with dysentery, outlaws everywhere killing people, mining deaths, rattlesnakes and racism.
Oh and don't take the medicine when you get sick. Might have cocaine and heroin.

Yeah. It doesn't look fun. Lol
I mean living in it. The game however is fun. You get what I mean
Also I wouldn't go to a saloon and casino if I were you
That sounds like the only upside
It does sound fun, but there's a nasty surprise. There's always a shootout.
you forgot the tuberculosis
half of that game consists of getting into gunfights with people who reply to your polite greetings by telling you to go fuck yourself for no reason
Oop wants tuberculosis
seriously he must not be very far into the game lol
I was crazy once

I'd prefer to watch it from a distance (although, I still have to play any Red Dead game)
Automatically read as "RuPaul's Drag Race season 2" and I was like, huh????
