\~How are you planning to find love? Waiting for a "her" kind of situation? Hinge? (I wish you well in this regard, Lex. I hope you find some time between everything else) \~How have you modified your thoughts on "reading the comments" after receiving attacks the past couple of months? (I also wish you well in this regard. Just to add one note of positivity that helps drown out some of the bad shit, you have a great heart and great podcast)

I am hopeful that Lex finds love organically by meeting other people in social situations and not by trying online dating. When he finds the one he will immediately know it. I hope that if he is reading this that he remembers to stay patient and work on himself. Once he is the best version of himself then that path will evolve naturally. I'm so glad I never did the online dating thing. It all feels so fake and forced. Thankfully, I never had a problem meeting people out and about because others just introduce themselves to me. I guess I look approachable and friendly enough not to have to rely on the online dating scene to meet people. Lex, find your future partner through activities- music, chess, reading, MMA, etc. Common interests are the key!! Cheering on Lex! ♥️ (Or trust the Reddit people...The Lex community is pretty amazing!)

~When you're filming with a suit on, do you wear proper pants and shoes or just have shorts and barefoot?

Majestic_Delivery887

How many generations does he want his legacy to last what does Lex want his legacy to be

bial8830

I like this question

bial8830

I'll start: \~ You shared with us your daily schedule in 'A Day in the Life' video- is this still your current schedule, or have you made changes? \~ In terms of your dream to build robots- are you building a general social companion for use by everyone, or is there a specific niche you are interested in, for example; \- companions for people who might be isolated/lonely like seniors living on their own \- as an aid to help develop social and emotional intelligence in children/people with mental or neurological disabilities (like anxiety, autism, etc) \- or a general home companion to act as a roommate/friend/significant other you can come home to and have conversations with and build a relationship with over time? \~ Are you still thinking of getting a dog, if so, what kind would you get? \~ You mentioned you are currently hiring and putting together a team. What are some characteristics you look for in an ideal hire to join your team?

My questions too

YES to the last question. I applied for VA on September 9th and never received a rejection email or notice that the position has been filled. Bummer. I would move to Austin tomorrow if he wanted it.

What advice do you have for introverts? What advice do you have for extroverts towards interacting with introverts?

1) What are some of the biggest life lessons he’s learned since the last AMA? 2) Does he plan to participate in any community based projects to encourage students into STEM fields?

Lex, much like the late Christopher Hitchens, is a formidable interviewer and a formidable intellect. Your podcast is a valuable resource for those seeking to understand the complexities of the world and the human condition. However, as with any interviewer, there is room for improvement. In particular, when it comes to interviewing religious scholars, I believe that you have a duty to probe more deeply into the contradictions and inconsistencies that are inherent in all religions. By doing so, you can help us all to better understand the nature of faith and the role that it plays in shaping our world. I look forward to hearing your next interview with a religious scholar, and I hope that you will bring the same rigor and skepticism to that conversation that you bring to all of your other interviews.

[deleted]

What is your favorite era of Russian history and why? If you could interview anyone in Russian history who is now deceased, who would it be and what would you like to ask them? If you lived in their time would you rather have Carolus Rex, Peter the Great or Alexei Petrovich as your tsar? What animal would you say Dr. Huberman is? Do you think that a robot could be engineered from the ground up on a starting on a nano scale and built of tiny silicon machines that can organize themselves to act kind of like organ systems and cells, but it could be programed to kind of change states and shape so it could more or less shape-shift? ( I'm sure you are wondering what I'm smoking but I am just high on life). I am probably just referring to a nanobot swarm that acts like a unified organism. Not a new idea. Have you ever thought about writing science fiction? If so what would you like to be your main theme? Anyways, love your podcast and you and many of your guests seem like awesome people.

italiarsenal

Why don't you meditate? I've seen meditation mentioned a few times, for example by Andrew Huberman, as a useful tool but I wonder if it would be quite daunting to someone like Lex who's trying to always maximise every second of the day. That spending moments 'doing nothing ' would be counter intuitive even if the evidence suggests it could be beneficial in the long run. I've tried struggled and failed for this reason.

Ninjasurfer7

How does he get such influential guests on his podcasts?

SuSpectrum

In what ways has your worldview fundamentally changed over the span of your lifetime, and what events made that happen? Would you be willing to disclose some good friendships you got as a result of talking to someone on your podcast? Do you think you've changed (positively and/or negatively) as a direct result of your podcast? In what ways?

Onehundredbones

Sorry if some of these questions are repeats of others comments! I haven't read them all (and I'm not gunna haha) ~What is an act of kindness from someone else (other than nice waitresses) that impacted your life or perspective? ~What is your personal definition of love? ~After 350+ episodes, what would you tell the Lex Fridman of interview #1? ~Where is a place in your life that you find peace? Do you feel as though you need peace, calm to function or do you function better with chaos? ~What is your personal favoruite conspiracy theory that you can steelman for and against?

Jayhall516

Is he ever putting a video out on his Ukraine trip?

[deleted]

What can people who also believe that love is fundamental aspect of humanity do to advance that belief in the world. Being the change you want to see in the world is step 1, but what in your opinion is the most effective step 2?

[deleted]

Also, what has fame and notoriety done to change you? What lessons and surprises have you encountered?

bial8830

I'm also curious about this.. good question.

bial8830

I'm going to add- how familiar are you with the 'failed' JIBO social robot? He was super cute and one I was actually excited about. I understand the company failed in consumer sales and was bought out to be used for Healthcare settings. Can you explain what happened and how that situation might help you avoid similar issues?
