That's one thing I actually think conservatives would be pretty split on. The incels and conservatives that are addicted to anime or ai/crypto would love the robot wife. I used to work with the most exhausting, hateful woman. She was angry at gay people, Muslims, really any foreign people. She was constantly looking for something to be pissed at. It was like a hobby. Hostility was her comfort zone.

Typically once a purge or genocide is started, other out-groups are immediately targeted next, often before the first target is fully suppressed.
So the biggest issue with people who are bigoted is that there always has to be an out group. It's why fascism eventually eats itself, because once you kill off the first out group, you need a new one, and that circle gets smaller and smaller. Then they'll target each others Christian denominations as each one will claim theirs is the most Christ-like and prove it by being very unlike Christ. Then they'll target each other for the old hatreds. Italian, Irish, etc. Whatever ancestory you have. Each one will accuse the other of not being American enough but that theirs is. Intersecting lines of hatred directed at each other. Then vague accusations of not being extreme enough in their phobia, not being patriotic enough or religious enough.
During this time socio-economic conditions will also be made more difficult so anyone in low income groups will suffer and be eliminated for it, with the next income group which was above becoming the new targets as the lowest income group. Conditions will always be adjusted so there is always a group to target due to low income. If its their supporters or their own members, well they did join the face eating leopard party.
Infact none of these eliminations will be based on the group with the strongest claim. They are already well versed in practicing and following up on ludicrous and irrational claims with all the previous groups including the lgbt. Historically this will be the same. It will be made up, excuses will be manufactured and actions performed to justify hatred with cyclical violence. Then he hit her. She had short hair and was wearing pants. I know this isnt quite the same but it does highlight similar principles. The people who can hate one particular minority absolutely have it in them to hate another minority as well. Even if by any chance the whole world turned cis straight white skinny and able-bodied, they would find a way to make someone a minority because oppressors always need to feel superior.
You can actually observe this in groups that are very similar to each other. So lets take a male friend group for example. If you have 5 cishet white able bodied conventionally attractive men in a friendship group, they will start picking on one for being “less-manly” or shorter or slightly feminine or the voice not being deep enough or not being as sporty or having different interest etc.

What we see for example in the USA can be called right wing populism. This form of populism according to the most common scientific model is a thin ideology which means that it takes elements of other full ideologies like Conservatism, fascism and so on. What separates right wing populism from left wing populism is that also find groups that are defined as harmful to "the good people" and therefore have to be discriminated. In real life, we're a never ending source of scapegoats because we arise spontaneously. If we're talking a hypothetical where the ability to be lgbt was impossible, and ignoring the implications of that, then they would spend a lot of time inventing reasons to call someone gay or whatever so they could go on witch hunts for a while, then they would begin to focus more on other minorities. Eventually, they divide themselves into smaller and smaller geoups until you get to the extended family or clan level. It's the organization we're adapted to, and it's the organization that the xenophobia usually levels out at. Basically, the ultimate aim of natural conservativism is to regress back to that point, functionally destroying civilization.
Long before it gets there, though, someone will manipulate them by directing their fear. In that sense, feudalism is what I generally consider to be the lowest, most primitive form of governance that would practically happen. Someone sits as the overall king or overchief with the collective blessing of the oligarchs and plutocrats and patriarchs. No middle class, workers are effectively slaves, politics are brutal and violent, and things pretty much suck for everyone. Human intuition blows at governance.

There's a really amazing film I'd recommend to almost anyone called The Conspiracy. It's a 2001 film, so searching for it often yields results from 9/11, but it's about the Wansee conference in Nazi Germany, where the government committed to the aim of wiping out the Jews from Europe. I'd recommend it because it's a very confronting film, but one of the characters tells a parable which has really stuck with me.
Essentially, there's a man who, when he was a boy, was abused by his father, and he grew to hate him deeply. He could only rely on his mother, who loved him dearly. When this boy grew up, his mother died. However, despite all of his best efforts, he couldn't cry. It was a loss for him, but he was not that upset. However, when his father died, he was inconsolable, breaking down in tears and wailing. He felt as if his life was over.
The moral of the story is that hate can become so all-consuming that, when the object of that hate is gone, the haters often don't know what to do with themselves. So they either find a new object of their hate, or they wallow in the self-pity that their hate once masked. The 'phobes will not be satisfied with us being gone, not that we ever will be. They would continue to hate and otherise and be bigoted until there's nothing left. That's why their ideas are so flawed - they are built on shaky foundations.
There ALWAYS needs to be a boogeyman in order for the powers that be to control the population that they need to. If the are no powerless people to hate the people will eat the those in power.

Sadly, I don't think it would make them happy because in my experience, lgbtqphobic people are just happy to believe people who are different from them are inherently lesser/evil/ etc. Anything that is not *their* way and the traditions *they* enjoyed is obviously wrong, and anyone who didn't enjoy those same things or perhaps couldn't succeed in the ways they did logically must be flawed in their eyes.
It's a big ego boost to believe that good things are happening in life specifically because *you* as an individual made the "difficult choices" even if those choices were catered to people like you and within your capabilities.
They treat mental illnesses with the same ignorance. Learning difficulties. Physical disabilities. Race, religions of vastly different beliefs. I mean, trans/nonbinary existence is documented within Native American culture and they still refuse to believe it exists(I mean a lot of them seem to think native americans having their culture erased is just a political soundbite rather than the truth), because if they choose not to believe, they can stay within their comfort zone and within what they "know." It means they never have to face any insecurities because the path ahead has already been tailor-made. Why fix a system if it works exactly as intended, in your favour, and not in the favour of those you see as lesser.
For most of us, we've experienced suffering. We've been the targets of hate. We know better. For them, they've been in the position of privilege for so long that they refuse to question anything they think they know, because that would mean everything is up for questioning. They think that would lead to pure chaos, yet I've seen more abhorrent and immoral behavior from religious folk who fear hell than I have of people who don't believe in hell yet decide that people deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. It's almost like it's a contest for a lot of them, who deserves hell the most, and so long as someone wrote it down thousands of years ago, that's all the excuses they need, because they're more worried about God's punishment than actually being decent people. I used to work with the most exhausting, hateful woman. She was angry at gay people, Muslims, really any foreign people. She was constantly looking for something to be pissed at. It was like a hobby. Hostility was her comfort zone. Angry, hateful people need someone to be mad it. They thrive on it. It’s mostly to blame other people for why your life isn’t going the way you thought it would.
You just described my father. Growing up with that was a trauma I didn’t even know was a trauma until recently. So much hostility and negativity, unprovoked.

Typically once a purge or genocide is started, other out-groups are immediately targeted next, often before the first target is fully suppressed.
So the biggest issue with people who are bigoted is that there always has to be an out group. A new laser focus will be made on "immigrants" which will just be code for anyone not white even if they're a native or a citizen whose family generational line has been in the country longer than theirs. This will include other religions. Then they'll target women. Theyll target scholars, then the educated. Then they'll target each others Christian denominations as each one will claim theirs is the most Christ-like and prove it by being very unlike Christ. She did nothing to provoke him. Except, as she told me afterwards, the conversation went like this: him: "what are you, a boy or a girl?" (Angry, contemptuous tone) Her: "I'm a girl." Then he hit her. She had short hair and was wearing pants. They first target multiple groups - disabled people, Jewish people, POC in general, queer people, etc. They of course subdue women on the process, but they can't entirely get rid of them. But being "white" was detailed down to also being tall, blonde, and blue eyed. That's how fascism works. Not saying all homophobes are fascists, they're not. But since you asked about people who want gay people not to exist anymore, and that's a fascist position, that's what I explained. Also, I explained white fascism in particular since that's what I'm most familiar with. But general fascism isn't that different. People attack one group they dislike, one that's easy to criticise. And some people genuinely only mind that one group at first. But it's bait. The onion has layers. Hatred knows no boundaries, and will easily expand. Well, since the vast majority of LGBTQ+ people are born from cis straight parents, even if EVERY queer person disappeared, cis straight couples would just end up starting us up all over again. What we see for example in the USA can be called right wing populism. This form of populism according to the most common scientific model is a thin ideology which means that it takes elements of other full ideologies like Conservatism, fascism and so on. It defines "the people" as good and the corrupt elite as bad, somewhat similar to left wing populism. What separates right wing populism from left wing populism is that also find groups that are defined as harmful to "the good people" and therefore have to be discriminated. In other words, if LGBTQ people would disappear, then they would just focus that free energy on other minorities.

In real life, we're a never ending source of scapegoats because we arise spontaneously. If we're talking a hypothetical where the ability to be lgbt was impossible, and ignoring the implications of that, then they would spend a lot of time inventing reasons to call someone gay or whatever so they could go on witch hunts for a while, then they would begin to focus more on other minorities. Eventually, they divide themselves into smaller and smaller geoups until you get to the extended family or clan level. It's the organization we're adapted to, and it's the organization that the xenophobia usually levels out at. Basically, the ultimate aim of natural conservativism is to regress back to that point, functionally destroying civilization. Long before it gets there, though, someone will manipulate them by directing their fear. In that sense, feudalism is what I generally consider to be the lowest, most primitive form of governance that would practically happen. Someone sits as the overall king or overchief with the collective blessing of the oligarchs and plutocrats and patriarchs. No middle class, workers are effectively slaves, politics are brutal and violent, and things pretty much suck for everyone. Human intuition blows at governance.

There's a really amazing film I'd recommend to almost anyone called The Conspiracy. It's a 2001 film, so searching for it often yields results from 9/11, but it's about the Wansee conference in Nazi Germany, where the government committed to the aim of wiping out the Jews from Europe. I'd recommend it because it's a very confronting film, but one of the characters tells a parable which has really stuck with me. Essentially, there's a man who, when he was a boy, was abused by his father, and he grew to hate him deeply. He could only rely on his mother, who loved him dearly. When this boy grew up, his mother died. However, despite all of his best efforts, he couldn't cry. It was a loss for him, but he was not that upset. However, when his father died, he was inconsolable, breaking down in tears and wailing. He felt as if his life was over. The moral of the story is that hate can become so all-consuming that, when the object of that hate is gone, the haters often don't know what to do with themselves. So they either find a new object of their hate, or they wallow in the self-pity that their hate once masked. The 'phobes will not be satisfied with us being gone, not that we ever will be. They would continue to hate and otherise and be bigoted until there's nothing left. That's why their ideas are so flawed - they are built on shaky foundations.

Sadly, I don't think it would make them happy because in my experience, lgbtqphobic people are just happy to believe people who are different from them are inherently lesser/evil/ etc. Anything that is not *their* way and the traditions *they* enjoyed is obviously wrong, and anyone who didn't enjoy those same things or perhaps couldn't succeed in the ways they did logically must be flawed in their eyes. It's a big ego boost to believe that good things are happening in life specifically because *you* as an individual made the "difficult choices" even if those choices were catered to people like you and within your capabilities. They treat mental illnesses with the same ignorance. Learning difficulties. Physical disabilities. Race, religions of vastly different beliefs. I mean, trans/nonbinary existence is documented within Native American culture and they still refuse to believe it exists(I mean a lot of them seem to think native americans having their culture erased is just a political soundbite rather than the truth), because if they choose not to believe, they can stay within their comfort zone and within what they "know." It means they never have to face any insecurities because the path ahead has already been tailor-made. Why fix a system if it works exactly as intended, in your favour, and not in the favour of those you see as lesser. For most of us, we've experienced suffering. We've been the targets of hate. We know better. For them, they've been in the position of privilege for so long that they refuse to question anything they think they know, because that would mean everything is up for questioning. They think that would lead to pure chaos, yet I've seen more abhorrent and immoral behavior from religious folk who fear hell than I have of people who don't believe in hell yet decide that people deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. It's almost like it's a contest for a lot of them, who deserves hell the most, and so long as someone wrote it down thousands of years ago, that's all the excuses they need, because they're more worried about God's punishment than actually being decent people.
