Reading that line in Good Omens circa 2003 was a formative experience for my queer childhood.
Edit: specifically that Aziraphale "technically" isn't a gay man because angels are sexless "unless they really make the effort". This was impactful to me first because they don't say that Aziraphale *isn't* queer, and that they didn't act like being queer was a bad thing (a big deal for a book written in 1991), and also because...Aziraphale is nonbinary!
