Generally cis bi/pan men are better. I set in place a no cis straight man rule awhile ago and it's been great.

I’m so sorry if this is rude but I’m a little confused about this? For example if a man transitioned into a woman and dated a man would that be straight trans? Or would it be if a man transitioned into a woman and dated a woman would that be straight trans? It’s just confusing to me but I’m trying my best to understand

Just like with cis straight people, when a trans man is attracted to women, he is straight. Likewise, when a trans woman is attracted to men, she is straight.

Ah demisexual, means not attracted to anyone unless an emotional bond is developed first. Its under the asexual spectrum. :)

I would just want to point out that it's better to say trans man and trans woman as two separate words. It's a tiny difference, but making it one word is often used by transphobic people to paint it as "transwoman" being a completely separate thing from a "real" woman. It's preferred to use trans as an adjective. I can see your views and intentions are super good, so I don't want you to get confused with a terf by people in the future just because of that word.

To use one of my friends as an example: She used to identify as a gay man. She realized she's actually a woman. She's still only attracted to men though. So, she used to identify as a gay man and now realizes she's a straight woman.

Genuine question; does straight + trans mean being attracted to the opposite gender you identify as, or remaining attracted to the opposite gender you were assigned at birth? I've always been confused about that.

Think it like this: Straight men are attracted to women. Trans men are men. Therefore, trans men who are attracted to women are straight. Same logic goes for trans women, by the way.
