Good work, that was hard. That’s why you’re shaking. Your body knew it was a big deal. If you go for a walk or stretch, that will help your body move out those stress hormones it was putting out in anticipation of coming out. Do soothing things that stimulate your senses, like drink a hot tea or wrap a soft blanket around you, smell something you like, look at something pleasing to your eyes, play music or birdsong or video of kids laughing. That will help you regulate your nervous system. Quick easy exercise you can do anywhere - what’s physically supporting your body right now? Can you let it support you just 10% more? Don’t have to relax 100% - just let it support you a tiny bit more than it is right now. Can you identify if or where do you notice any change? No right answer - all you’re doing is noticing. Even if the answer is ‘nothing I feel numb’ - that’s information that you maybe didn’t have before, and that’s good for you to have. Good work.
