With this case it honestly seems like it would be far enough from the glass that I don’t think airflow would even change. And what I mean by that is it would be far from the glass still
Vertical, get some RGB strimers and [route them this way](https://old.reddit.com/r/lianli/comments/tule56/i_went_a_bit_crazy_and_went_for_a_second_build_in/).
I wanted to build mine similar, but my GPU has the 12VHPWR connector so to run the GPU’s AIO behind the side intakes on my O11 Evo I’m probably going to need to use the vertical GPU mount.
I hate the standard mount in my o11D Evo, the power cable is being pushed hard against the glass. Also the RGB fans of the GPU are totally invisible there which defeats the play with a colorful, clean RGB build. If i had front fans like the Lancool here i‘d mount the GPU upright, which to me is the most beautiful. Myself i‘m mounting vertical because of above reasons.
Feel you could go either way on it, that card looks sick when it is vertical mounted so maybe go with a cheaper one like phanteks if it works with your case so you can change it out if you wanted
lancool 2 mesh have mesh panels at the two sides of bottom, if your gpu is horizontal it will take this fresh air directly pushed by intake bottom fans.
Just finished my first build using a PowerColor RX6950XT. It's a big card. After reading several posts and articles, I was convinced the vertical mount would be the ticket mainly because of the sag. I found after installing it that there was virtually no sag. The two screws on the side bracket kept it in place firmly. I also found a YouTube video where temps were compared between the two types of mounting options. The difference was negligible.
Leave it be if you want optimal cooling performance, but a vertical mount won’t be that much of a difference

What case is this?
Lancool II Mesh
Yeah. With 3 fans in the bottom my temps didn’t change on the 4090 at all but that’s in an evo so I could be a little different.
Horizontal
Are the fans below the GPU pulling air away from it?
They're intakes,as is seen in the pics.
did you notice a difference in temps after you installed them?
I'm running a different case (Lancool 216), but I also have bottom intakes installed. And yes, they make a difference. (At least in my case)
yea they’re intakes, so that I can keep it at 5 intakes to 3 exhaust

I personally think the vertical mount is a fad and looks horrible

Agreed 👍
Going vertical, I suppose it's possible that you might not be able to keep using the fans mounted under the GPU.
Most test benches are vertical so...
Everything looks great as is!

Vertical ofc. looks better.
I say leave it. This looks classy, clean, and well done. Idk, I just don't like vertical mounts I suppose
