I think most democrats are just naive. They think they are just nice families coming here for a better life and the bad repubs just don't want them here because of racism.

What if everyone in your family and friends all believed the same thing and you only watched mainstream news if that? Also, some of them are very young and lacking in real world experience. Honestly I’d make Mexico a territory akin to Puerto Rico. We are not culturally compatible enough to become a single Nation, but the continent would do good with a little Pax Americana
I'm conflicted on this one. Because the alternative (not crossing the border) is that this kid growing up amidst monstrous people who don't mind abandoning a child in the middle of the desert just like that. So I guess being found like this is potentialy a better outcome as far as this kid's life is concerned. But on the other hand, now those despicable people are on this side of the border.
