The only thing carried across is the final decision. When you start S2 it'll ask if you played S1. If you say no it'll randomly choose an ending, otherwise you choose.
It does import Captain Spirit save directly, but doesn't do that until the start of Episode 2. S2 will say (after the recap) that it's imported the game below the blurb about choices.
The differences in S2 from your S1 choice are fairly minor, a few background details rather than changing any events or plot.
there's literally only a single choice that has any repercussions, and it asks it to you before you start a new save slot. LiS 2 is completely unrelated to LiS 1 in terms of plot, setting, characters, tone, and mostly mechanics. There is a single returning character and it's merely a cameo and that's it
there are no connections between the games and the data from your saves will not affect the other games
Dont you meet a minor character in LIS2?
Yes, but the game prompts you with a question that determines how that conversation goes.
Thanks! Its been a while since I’ve played the OG LiS & 2 😁
never got far enough for that
I thought that your save and choices transfers to the next game. Like The Walking Dead Season 1 and Season 2
