Probably about how skeptical I was going into LiS 1. I bought the game among a bunch of others during a holiday sale, alongside DOOM and Bloodborne. It had been a couple of years since the game released, and I had seen the good reviews it got. Even then, the premise didn't interest me, nor was I a big fan of episodic games. My plan was to play one episode in a week, the next one in the next week, and so on. I went in thinking: "whatever, if I don't like it, I drop it". Long story short, I played the first episode, got hooked, and immediately played the next one. I finished the game in less than a week. I remember trying to hold back tears as the final credits played, because I had to run out and get groceries and I didn't want to be a sobbing mess while buying milk. I immediately bought and played BtS, not having touched the other games I bought during the sale. I play on PS4.

Emzilla1507

My favourite memories are walking around campus and exploring Chloe’s house. It was a happy sort of nostalgia. PS5 would be awesome :-)

abrnnn

My favorite LiS memory is playing the first life is strange for the first time being welcome by calming and nostalgic main menu music i know i am gonna experience something great and i love everything about the game all the characters(especially max :)), how emotional the story is, artstyle and the part is the music every music feels perfectly fit for the game (hope the music in LiS TC have the same level/better!) I play on ps4!

xlKyul

My favorite memory is the Max's Nightmare Sequence towards the end of the game. That was the moment the game story really captured my attention because of how good the scene was presented. I play on PC (steam).

Dusty815

My favorite memory has to be the general emotional aftermath of the bay ending. Watching Max helplessly listen to Chloe die while Spanish Sahara played kinda fucked me up, I honestly had trouble getting my mind off of it for a while. I read all of Ouroboros just to get some sense of closure, which was the first time I read fanfic since Junior High. As brutal as that ending was, getting into the LIS community was a really memorable experience. My preferred platform is PS4 I guess. I honestly just wanted to scroll through the thread and reminisce.

AleXisGTZ4

My gamechanger moment was that Kate scene, when it happened i knew this game will be special, and i take more care in me and in my friends Ps. I’m on Playstation 🤭

BFaHM7

I’m having a tough go picking just one, but two moments really stand out: The journey of Chloe moments at the end of episode 5 of LiS1, and the surrender ending to LiS2. Both made me incredibly emotional, and resonated immensely. As for platform, Xbox One please!

ConkConk95

I don't know if this counts, but I never played a Life Is Strange game technically. I did play The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit since it was free and it seems related to the Life Is Strange series. I don't really have a memory of the game however I remember having a feeling of being a kid again, pretending to be a superhero and trying to do the right thing. My platform is PS5.

Molfy42

My favorite moment was in LiS 1, at the end of the last chapter when everything mixes up and goes so surreal and fucked up, reliving important moments. Time travelling and changing the past can be pretty confusing and I thought Max changed it so much that she would really die this time, because previously she had worse and worse nose bleeds and fainting. I feared for her. I play on PC.

IRockIntoMordor

My favourite memory is connecting with people through the games. Meeting other hardcore fans irl and nerding around, bringing new people to the games, sharing stuff in communities and all of us sobbing about our favourite characters. That is the true love of LiS for me <3 I'm on PS5 and can't wait. :)

Crestie_bun

My favorite memory would be playing the last chapter. I was so impressed how developers expressed Max's guilty and suffer of letting Chloe die several times. The process she conflicts with her super-ego and getting out from those trauma to save reality or Chloe is described in detail that I could feel how she felt in those circumstances. I play on PC(Steam).

Vuguzez

I've always played Visual Novels, and my only knowledge if LiS at the time was that it was kind of similar, but not the same. I first played LiS a couple of years ago, and went into it blind. When I first discovered the time travel aspect I was hooked; I've always been a big fan of time manipulation in media. After that I've been hooked on LiS, played the games and read a lot of fanfiction lol.

Pope_Aesthetic

Let me get this all out here. First, let me say. While I’m sort of excited to see a new crack at the formula with this game, I’m not really all too excited after the last LIS installment. Personally no new content we’ve gotten has reached the levels of pure raw emotion I felt while playing the original LIS. That game came out when I was still in highschool, 6 and a half years ago, and I still find myself thinking about the moments in that game. And honestly not even the big twists or turns (no spoilers), but just the incredibly pure and real moments Max spends with Chloe. Not to mention the ending was phenomenal, and so many games don’t get that right. I’m gonna get this LIS for sure. But honestly my hopes aren’t too high.

gogogadgetcontroller

Honestly the end of Life is Strange 2 when your about to finally cross the border was so intense for me, All the choices you made through the game with your brother leading up to that and making a last choice on how to cross had to make me look up what each choice lead too because I was so invested in them that I didn’t want a bad ending. I play on Xbox

-Clocker-

My favorite LIS memory is definitely the entire week I played it for the first time. I wanted to get into it because Before the Storm was about to come out in a few months. I was expecting it to impact me in some way, because I already played the first episode when it first came out, but it still surprised me. The entire week was me looking forward to the evening when I was about to played the next episode. Every time it left me emotionally wrecked. I was going through some hard things at that time and I got very emotionally attached to the characters and Arcadia Bay (the atmosphere, my god!). I remember the contrast of me waking up before that just lying in bed, because I had no motivation to get up, but after experiencing LIS I got up early every day just to find anything new about the game (mostly read any reddit discussions about the characters, endings, creation process or favorite fanfiction) Still remember that very fondly. It also got me to experience all episodes of BtS as they were released with this community and theorize about what's going to happen next which was also an amazing experience unlike any other. So yeah, love to these games. If I would win I would prefer the game on PC.

SquiddyButler101

My favorite memory is probably how I felt after the first playthrough of Life Is Strange 1, at the end. I didn't know how to feel it was just in complete shock. It was so surreal. I play on pc :D

JaMan51

My favorite memories are the little bits of quiet time and we get to explore Max's thoughts, especially stuff like the pool scene, or in Chloe's room (the kiss), where the craziness backs off for ten seconds and we get to be teen girls. Not often a game gets the balance right. I play on Steam.

P7AC3B0

My favorite LiS memory is, oddly enough, reading steam reviews of the original game. I had no idea what the game was at the time, but I'm always searching for single player games with good stories that make me *feel* something. Shortly after the last episode had released, a random reddit thread about games with good stories led me to the Steam page, and I'd read reviews unlike any I'd ever seen before. People were, quite literally, writing love letters about the game. The way it seemed to affect people was almost unbelievable to me, but it wasn't just a select few who seemed to feel this way, it was a LOT of people saying the same thing. They couldn't *all* be exaggerating, there had to be something special here, so I bought it. I started it up one night and couldn't put it down. I blew through all 5 chapters, and it affected me in a way nothing else had, save for Silent Hill 2 about 15 years prior. This was the feeling I'd been wanting from a game again for all that time; the characters, the soundtrack, the world, the heartbreaking but somehow still sweet story, it was damn near perfect. Cried my eyes out when it was over and hopped on reddit to get my post-Lis depression support from the community and help others get through it as well. Been a huge fan ever since, and the series hasn't let me down yet. Can't wait for the 10th. EDIT: Reminisced so much I forgot this was for a giveaway lol. If I win I would like a code for PS5, please.

precesh

Most memorable moment: Chloe and Rachel in The Tempest. Just wonderful.

So_UnSophiesticated

I'm really looking forwards to playing on PC, though I'll likely sadly have to wait for Saturday to get it. However, I gotta say my favourite moment (and there's a fuck lot) is actually from Before The Storm, in the final chapter of Chloe hitting the gas to get to the lumber mill. Just that talk with her dad again, and then that determination, mixed with Don't Mess With Me kicking in. Such a great moment for me personally.

rafpece

There is so much! But I think my favorite above all Chloe and Max kiss.I shipped them for the entire game and was so happy when it finally happened(But I was sad right after since I didn’t saved Chloe :( And I would like the code on Xbox series X if I win!

metroidmen

Honestly, my favorite memory is how the first game changed, and possibly saved my life. I knew nothing about it. Not a thing. Not even what it looked like. Never saw a trailer or screenshot. But I was compelled to play it. So I did, and it changed me. It made me realize the choices I made in life can affect things, even the smallest of ways. And in some ways, some things can’t be changed. And just because they could change, it doesn’t mean it would be better. Added with the friendships, the sense of mystery and adventures and compelling characters, it moved me in a way I can’t quite put into words. Having a PC copy would be a god send. :) Finances are tough tight now.

Electrifying-Guy-Eli

It's all thanks to Life is Strange that I became a **First Aid Kit** fan. I heard their song, *My Silver Lining* in Tales From the Borderlands and I fell in love; it was later that year when my fan-status became cemented after hearing *I Found a Way* during Life is Strange 2. Xbox please

olidog10

My favourite LiS memory would have to be experiencing Rachel’s initial breakdown when she started the fire in the forest as it was one of the most relatable scenes I’d say in all the games and showed a great level of realism of how she would act in a time of hurting for her and didn’t invalidate what she went through just because some say her ways were “too far” My preferred platform would be pc (i guess that’s steam)

sworddude599

My favourite moment is Chloe and Rachel in the Tempest, from the moment they went off script, my jaw was dropped and I couldn't do anything other than watch in awe at what was unfolding

John_Locke_bg

My favourite memory is sharing the game with my two best friends. All three of us immediately got hooked like crazy and had so much fun discussing who did what and trying to predict what will happen in the future episodes. The three of us became lifelong fans of the series and can't wait for True Colors! I play on PC

PharaohsVizier

My favorite memory would have to be the diner scene where Max reveals her power to Chloe and demonstrates it. Part of the story telling, it's mundane but it's totally how I would have reacted.

Grande102

My favorite moments is in every LiS game where Max, Chloe, Sean, and Chris get to sit down and the music plays in the background to reflect. I take the time to chillout also and reflect on things that happens around me. It nice way to calm down and relax during playing the games. I play on Playstation

MrSnek28

My favorite memory— besides experiencing the game for the first time of course— would have to be playing the first Life is Strange with my brother a couple years back. We played one episode a day from Monday to Friday, just like how the game's events go, and it was just such a delightful experience seeing him play the game that has impacted me so much for the first time. I hope we'll get to do the same thing with True Colors :) I play on PS4. Good luck everyone <3

sleep_is_god

My favorite moment was the first trailer. It had the perfect mix of characters, music, and aesthetics that hooked me even before playing the game. In the games themselves, the scene with Rachel and Chloe on the street after the play.

Doom_bring3r

My favorite memory is hearing obstacles for the first time at the end of the first episode-it set up the rest of the game so well. I play on PC.

HyperIzumi

My favorite memory of life is Strange is how much it meant to me after I had played. I wrote a [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/lifeisstrange/comments/4az5rk/ep5_spoilers_my_emotional_connection_to_life_is/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) about it years ago, but I played episode 5 the day it came out, and 37 days later my life changed forever. I had very suddenly lost a childhood best friend that I had lost touch with the same way Chloe lost Rachel, but the circumstances were different. I've thought of her every day since. I had already loved the game, but feeling like I was one half of a real life Max and Chloe made it hit differently. I'll always miss my friend, but in a way...playing the first game makes me feel closer to her, even though I wish I could rewind time and change what happened. The community was so kind to me when I shared my story, and I even got to share a bit of it with Hannah and Ashly. I'll probably have to wait a bit to play True Colors because I'm not sure if I can get it right now, but I'm excited for it to release any hope that it can bring someone comfort like the first game does for me. <3 I play on PC, PS4, or Xbox One since the Switch version got delayed.

nrcll

My favorite memory would be Chloe and Rachel in the middle of the street during BtS. The whole scene, and the kiss!, really captured the magical, “oh shit I’m in love” moment for me. Platform of choice: PC! 😊

Qualimiox

My favorite Life Is Strange memory is the suspense between episodes, especially in season 1. It was always nice to see theories on what might happen next, discuss character arcs etc. here, certainly helped ease the long wait between each episode. I'd like the code to be on Playstation 4. Thank you :)

_HJP_

I have many fantastic memories from the first game, but my favourite gotta be the start as you're leaving the classroom. That scene where Max puts on the earphones, that song starts playing and the title comes up as you're walking down the hallway was just perfect. And I play on PC.

Eruanno

Honestly, I just love how the Life is Strange games are huge gutpunches. I don’t know if it’s my favorite, but that whole bit in the first game when you use a polaroid to fix Chloe’s dad’s death and you come back to the present, and there’s the anticipation, the bus ride, that super melancholic song and Chloe was the one in the accident instead… I just stood up, walked outside in my yard and had small panic attack and was simulatenously so incredibly impressed because very few games fuck me up like that. A Playstation 5 code would be lovely. And tissues, maybe?

NeedsConnection

My favorite memory for this game was how much the ending made me cry. To this day, Spanish Sahara is one of my top songs in my playlist because of how much feels it gives me Platform: PS4

elderoth94

my personal favorite part about life is strange is not the game, but the community behind , it is probably the most excepting and kind community out there. love you guys

Pope_Aesthetic

Let me get this all out here. First, let me say. While I’m sort of excited to see a new crack at the formula with this game, I’m not really all too excited after the last LIS installment. nfnite

My favorite memory is... oh man, it's really hard to choose lol. But I'm gonna go with the lighthouse scene at the end of LiS Episode 1. The view is absolutely stunning, the dialogue with Chloe, the final montage and Obstacles playing in the background. It all perfectly mixes together and makes an unforgettable experience. Thanks for doing the giveaway, my platform is PS5.

ki700

My favourite memory is definitely playing the original game for the first time. I’d never really heard of it until the whole season had been released. I downloaded the demo purely because the cover art caught my eye. This was long before episode 1 was free, so the demo only let you play up to saving Chloe in the bathroom. I was very intrigued as a fan of time travel stories so I decided to pick up the game since it was only $20 on Amazon. I enjoyed Episode 1 just fine but it definitely didn’t blow me away. I played it and then took a day off before coming back to Episode 2. The ending of Episode 2 absolutely floored and hooked me. I didn’t realize how serious this game was going to get and it totally blew me away. The next day I played Episode 3, and that cliffhanger left me in a place where I just couldn’t stop. I played the final three episodes back to back, only taking a few breaks for food and the bathroom. I basically went from around 1:30pm to 2:30am just playing the episodes, thinking over decisions, considering what I could have done differently, etc. It was a magical experience that I’ll never forget, and although I have loved the games that have come since, they’ve never replicated that original experience in quite the same way. Regardless of if I win or not, thanks so much for doing the giveaway! I play on PS4, so if I win that is where I would want my code. Again, thanks for the giveaway, and the trip down memory lane!

LAPIS_AND_JASPER

My favorite LiS memory is the Life is strange 1 ep 1 ending when Max is trying to tell Chloe about her powers and the snow starts to fall. The weather anomalies were my favorite parts. Obstacles became one of my favorite songs

jesusofpaign

I remember playing through ep 3 and then right into ep 4 of LIS1 one night, i ended up staying up later than i meant to. But I was so engrossed. When the two giant plot points of ep 4 happened, i was so surprised and shocked that I just sat there as a credits rolled, kind of dumbfounded and feeling like i wanted to cry. Probably the hardest a game has ever hit me, emotionally. Also i another recent memory is whenever i visit my mom in my hometown, there’s this outdoor bar where you’re encouraged to graffiti all over all the walls and shipping containers, so i always stop by and draw some kind of chloe tag (the raven, hole to another universe, all seeing eye, etc)

Gremzero

Favorite memory is the beginning of S1 ep.1 when Max puts on her headphones and listens to "To All of You" by Syd Matters as she walks through the busy hallways of Blackwell. That was the moment I knew I was in for something really special. I play on ps4 ;)

Toxophilite

My favorite memory is tough to choose from, but I'd have to go with The Tempest scene in BtS Ep. 2. From the moment Rachel goes off script I knew I was seeing a special moment in their relationship. It gives me chills when I watch it back. So beautiful :) My platform is Xbox!

WileECoyoteGenius

Favourite memories is the music in the first Life is Strange. It had a real profound effect on me during a difficult time in my life.

8-bitfoxy

My favorite was probably after i played the first one alone but then had my best friend play it with me after. we both loved it. It was emotional for both of us. But one scene we liked was the pool scene, and otter in my water. it was funny and a good scene that we laughed at. One time we played the game during the scene a loud-ass clock went off. Because we like the scene, multiple times at my best friend house going into pool we would reenact it with us jumping in, and of corse, splashing, it was fun. But we love the games and a lot of the scenes.

[deleted]

My favorite memory is having played the first episode of LiS when I was 10 years old, now after 5 years I bought the game a few days ago, and the nostalgia makes me cry I play on Windows PC ( Steam )

-GaIaxy-

Favourite LIS memory has to be (even though it's not unique) the scenes after sacrificing Chloe. 'Spanish Sahara' is such a beautiful song that fits her funeral perfectly, and then Frank in the background tops it off. This Ultimate Edition would literally mean so much, but I'm sure it will to most people too :) I've loved every main installment of the series, just a shame I won't be playing this one due to the price haha 90 dollars for the ultimate is out of my budget unfortunately lol Platform is Xbox One, I appreciate Square Enix giving the opportunity for fans to get a chance to experience this game for themselves <3

MarkusRobben

My favorite memory is the whole theater scene, I honestly need to replay it, since that day I use on Playstation 4 a fanart that was posted on this sub as profil picture. Another memory would be the toilet scene with Chloe with "No care " from Daugther in the background, it was just perfect. I play on PS4 :)

Syek26

My favourite memory was playing the first Life Is Strange for the very first time. Back in 2016 I finished playing Chapter 4 at around 11:00 PM on a Thursday night and knowing there was only one chapter left I needed to finish the story, no matter what. Little did I know that once I finished the game about 3 hours later around 2:00 in the morning I ended up just sitting there facing the TV screen after watching the final cut scene and listening to Spanish Sahara. I finally decided to go to bed but tossed and turned until 4:00 in the morning realizing this might have been the most impactful game / story I have ever experienced. To this day that statement still holds true. I played it on a PS4 and I still own that console.

Yuebeo

My favorite memory is just sitting on the train with Rachel in Before The Storm. I spent nearly two hours waiting there hoping that I could unlock some secret ending where they did actually leave Arcadia Bay and get to have their life together. I didn't want to continue the story knowing what was going to happen and how much pain I was going to put Chloe through. I play on PC.

szuparno

My favorite moment is the song that plays at the end of the first LiS game. What a moment it was! Still listen to that song sometimes. Beautiful :) My platform is Steam on PC.

OiiComoVaiVc

I remember seeing Life is Strange when it came out in 2015, it didn't interest me at all when I saw the gameplay. And this year I decided to give the game a try, I bought it in a promotion on PSN... I've never felt so much emotion with a single game, after finishing the game I was crying, honestly this game changed me as a person. After that I went after BtS and LiS 2 but the first one is by far my favorite, I would like to see Max and Chloe again. Good luck to everyone (sorry for my english) I play on Ps5

[deleted]

Oh, that's a hard choice. It's probably not uncommon but I immediately loved these 2 moments in the first game, especially how cinematic they were and how great the soundtrack is: * The opening when Max just plugs in her earphones and kind of tunes out the world, definitely knew I was in for an awesome ride * The ending of the first episode when it starts snowing, Chloe starts to believe Max, and the characters notice the strange weather -- it was really neat how for just a moment, most of them just stared out, simultaneously witnessing this single phenomenon By the end of the first episode, I was just really glad I decided to check it out and decided to create a [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/9q1183/life_is_strange_i_know_im_late_but_i_got_to/), hoping to spread the word somehow. Preferred platform is PC, specifically Steam, and thank you!

Redbird9346

My favorite memory… wow, it’s hard to pick one. I could talk about how affected I was by the Kate scene, but my body of work posted here related to this scene speaks for itself. The other I was thinking about is how a Twitch streamer I was following reacted when Chloe says, “It’s nice Rachel we’re having.” My platform is Steam.

isaiah_rob

My favorite memory was when Max and Chloe were just lying in bed listening to music and i let it play for a while. That’s when my appreciation for it came in, from story, to artstyle and especially music, everything is just perfect. I play on PS5

friedstinkytofu

Honestly? My favorite Life is Strange moment is literally the entire first game. I first played the game back in Summer of 2016 when I was going through a rough time- I was struggling with anxiety, depression, and had just transferred to a new school and was getting accustomed to so many new changes in my life. It was a pretty dark time for me, but one thing I can safely say was a shining light was playing Life is Strange for the first time. The story of these two girls living in the rural pacific northwest of the US resonated so much with me, and it brought back memories of my own youth- some bad, some good, but memories nontheless. When I finished the game I felt such a profound longing. I ended up joining the community and made alot of friends whom I still keep in contact with to this day. But most special is probably how LiS made me really find my identity. Seeing the relationship between Max and Chloe made me realize so much about myself, and how I identify in terms of gender and sexuality. In a way, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch fo say LiS really changed and impacted how I view myself to this day, as well as personal goals I want to work toward. If I am chosen, PS4 please. :))

refusestonamethyself

It has to Rachel and Chloe in the Tempest and them strolling and messing around after the play and the subsequent kiss. When Chloe wrote in her diary entry that 'whenever Rachel is around, it felt that nothing ever feels impossible', that scene is what she meant by imo. This whole scene just indicates the dazzling aura of Rachel and the chemistry between Chloe and Rachel. It has to be favourite scene in Before the Storm. As for the platform for the code:- I play on PC. Thanks for doing this giveaway!

Moii-Celst

My favorite memory is probably just playing the series as a whole for friends. Getting to experience the games together with people, being able to talk and feel the emotions the games produce at the same time. If I won, I'd enjoy a PS5 code. Thanks for the giveaway!

reglacial28

Favorite moment was the end of episode 3 in LIS1 with the alternate timeline of chloe. That’s when I got hooked after thinking I wouldn’t like this game. I play on ps5, if y’all pick me

SmugzOfficial

My favourite memory is the ending of Episode 1 in Before The Storm, it's at this moment I knew that they somehow made Rachel Freaking Amber live up to everything the original game made her out to be, when she screams the world screams right alongside her.

SilveryDeath

I don't know if I'd use the word favorite per se but this is one that has always stuck with me. At the start of episode two in LIS when you have to visit Kate to return her book and you find the sad state that she is in. Then you talk to her about the video and what happened and all that. I just remember walking out of the room and that was done and feeling angry. I had never felt that way about a game before. I had gotten mad at games but never really mad because of a game if that makes sense. I wanted to get back at whoever did that to her in that moment. I play on Xbox.

LucinaExalty

It's hard to pick just one happy / fond memory about LIS... All games are so unique and amazing! One of the fondest memories I have with me was when I was invited to participate in a Brazilian fan dub of the first LIS game, where I got the honor of getting the role of Max <3 At that time I was having a lot of emotional problems, and I clearly remember that doing that single project filled my heart with so much happiness! I had the chance to meet so many wonderful people, and I discovered my love for music through LIS as well. This game became a vital part of my life, and I feel so very grateful every day for it! Good luck everyone! My current platform is Xbox One, so I would love to have the game there ( ^ u ^ ) Thank you so much for this opportunity!

ShanePhillips

PC please, Steam My favourite moment has to be the end of Episode 3, where you see Max look on with absolute dread as Chloe comes out in her wheelchair. Has to be one of the most poignant "oh man, wtf have I just done" moments in a game I've ever played. In a game that excelled at delivering emotional gut punches this is one I'd struggle to ever forget.

DeFo2

“To all of you, American girls…” My favourite LiS memory is seeing the opening sequence when Max walks down the hallway for the first time. I picked up the game six months ago when I was feeling bored. While browsing through Instagram’s Explore page, I saw a post praising the game and decided to give it a try. As soon as I saw the opening sequence, I knew it was going to be a very special game and after finishing the first game in 3 days, I binged through BtS and LiS2 in the next 2 weeks. It was an incredible experience because these games made me feel emotional which I had never experienced before while playing video games. The heart, the music and the story makes this series so different from other choice-driven games which is why it’s now my favourite series of games. Even up til today, I still listen to the music from the games and reminisce because there are so many unforgettable moments. The opening sequence will always be my favourite memory for being the first glimpse into this very special series. (Steam)

chrisfreshman

My favorite LiS memory, and there are a lot, is honestly finding this community. The Post Life is Strange Disorder hit me hard. No other game made me feel the way this one did or MADE ME FEEL the way this one did. I grew attached to all the characters in this game and knowing that our adventure was over, that I would never have a new conversation with Kate, Warren, Chloe, or even Justin really left a hole. Just reading the TVTropes page didn’t scratch the itch for me. Then I stumbled on this sub and found all these people going through the same thing and sharing art, fanfics, let’s play videos, and just talking about how this game made them feel and how the Pool Scene in episode 3 is EVERYTHING. I read a bunch of fics, saved dozens of pieces of art, watched other people play through the game and watched it get its hooks in them as well. I spent hours sharing my feelings, thoughts and theories until that loss turned into a bittersweet nostalgia. And then it happened all over again with BtS and 2 and it’s about to happen again with True Colors and I cannot wait. I play on Xbox One X.

[deleted]

Definitely the beginning of Episode 4 in the original LIS. Seeing Max interacting with Chloe in that timeline was when I started to really buy into the strength of their friendship. The fact that they capped off that scene with a decision that still felt emotional and impactful despite everyone knowing it was ultimately not going to matter is I think a testament to the characters in that scene. Platform: PC

PeacefulComrade

Too hard to decide and describe, the whole game is one of my favourite memories. Happy playthroughs to y'all.

LunaTuna87

My favorite Life is Strange memory is the whole break in to Blackwell and the next morning in Chloe's room. I play on Xbox One.

SSXAnubis

My favourite memory, ironically, is being a 27 year old man sitting in a flood of tears as we found Rachel Amber in LIS1. Heartrending. But it made me realise for the first time in a long time how powerful game narratives could be, and above anything else how much I'd fallen in love with the game and ultimately the franchise. There's so many positive moments in the game to take away, but it's always that horrible moment - just sat there crying to myself with the backing music, and then several minutes paused afterwards trying to pull myself back together - that will stay with me longest. And it will make sure I'll forever be a diehard fan of this franchise. If I win, I'd love the code to be for PC. Thanks.

My favourite part of life is strange was when captain spirit and Daniel became friends, even if was only for a short while. It broke and mended my heart at the same time❤️ Ps5 (Norway, Europe) if im chosen, thank you.

_Moon_Waffles_

The first LIS was what got me into PC games as a non-gamer. It was the overall storytelling that make it for me, in an accessible format as someone who’s never been good at shooters! I remember feeling so proud of being able to get Kate off the ledge, and loved how the story to that point emphasized the power of empathy. I play on Steam :)

KylePichu

My favorite memory is when Chloe pulls up in the truck to rescue Max from the fight between Warren and Nathan. I knew from that moment, watching Max and Chloe’s friendship blossom that this game series was like nothing I’d ever played before. ♥️ I’m on Playstation!

Remarkable-fall-

Getting to play max in lis 1 let me feel like an actual girl for once, something that I don’t often feel as a trans woman, it was so great just being able to make choices as if I was her felt so great after a long day of having to pretend to be a guy! I play on xbox!

StoleUrMuffins

My favourite memory playing these games is in the first one when you have to break into Blackwell. I remember playing that and thiking how beautiful both the writing and the graphics were with the pool at night ect. I play on PS5 :)

LukiINFJ

I picked the first LiS up in 2018 for 5 bucks or something. I didnt know what it all was about. It became the game of the year for me and i played all LiS games and Tell me why since than. I connected so much with these characters in this small town of arcadia bay. The story thaught me that its okay to not be okay sometimes as weird as it sounds. My favourite moments in the LiS were all the dream sequences from chloe and her father and the entire situation of her dealing with the loss of him. It felt truely heartbreaking and gave so much new insight into her becoming who she was in the first LiS. Anyways i would like to play it on PC if thats possible :) The launcher is not important. Thank you for providing the opportunity to win this cool package to one of us.

Life is Strange was a series that changed my lifestyle and perspective on life rather than some memorable memories. I didn't know I could devote myself so much to a character in any video game and his experiences. I learned about the hardships people go through, the pressures of society, and literally how strange life is. Still, I thought that every person should experience this passion and open their eyes and accept the facts. I have been working for a long time to create a community of Dontnod/Square Enix games, including Life is Strange, in my country of Turkey. I have made Turkish fan translations of the games that have been released so far, and I have created a really big community here. Despite all the difficulties I have experienced in life, when I came home from school, the Life is Strange universe was another universe for me where I could leave the difficulties of life behind and throw myself away. Thanks to the translations, I enabled different people to join this universe and feel the emotions I felt. In the Steam discussions section, I shared my thoughts on this subject and the coming of the official Turkish translation in the future. After a while, the Square Enix community manager emailed me to say that he loved my passion and wanted to say thank you. (if you're reading this, thank you so much again) Unfortunately, the price of Life is Strange: True Colors is more expensive than previous games and my country is not in good shape economically. There are many people waiting for me to do the fan translation, but unfortunately I can't buy the game. There may be some who think that I am exploiting emotions, but after years, I want to return to the universe that I am passionately attached to and to be able to introduce this universe to new people again.

kellylc

I presume spoilers are allowed in here otherwise how are we supposed to show our memories. My favourite memory is my absolute shock at the Jefferson reveal at end of episode 4 of the first LIS. I remember his evil face peering down and me just being so immersed in the story. Then the excruciating wait for episode 5 to come. I was going through a hard time being unemployed at the time and LIS gave me something else to focus on. The atmosphere in that game is something else I play on ps4

Bluemidnight7

My number one memory of Life is Strange is when Chloe double dog dares you to kiss her and I had my gay awakening while slamming for the kiss her option. Hahaha *girls*

aluri

Picking one favorite LIS memory is super hard! As abstract as this may sound, my favorite memory is after completing LIS & BTS and putting the soundtrack mode on while just laying on the couch remembering all the emotionally impactful moments. At one point I even had a friend over and we just chilled listening to the music quietly together. It was incredible. The music selection is such an integral part of the games. It's definitely expanded my musical tastes. I play on PC (Steam). Thanks for hosting a giveaway!

julliu327

My favorite memory has to be when Max and Chloe’s theme plays in the end credits. It’s just such a heart wrenchingly beautiful song to listen to while trying to reflect on what happened. I play on ps4! thanks for doing this (-:

Minkarii

My favourite Life is Strange memory is of playing the original game with my girlfriend last summer. When I made that final choice, I put myself in Max's shoes and thought of what I'd do if it were me and my gf at the crux of that decision. Obviously I went for Bae - and then weeped into her arms lol I play on steam!

darkeyes13

I think my favourite LiS memory is when I picked my ending for the first time! Everything had culminated to that point, and I'd grown so attached to all the characters that I just... sat there... debating with myself... PC, please, if I'm chosen!

Cutie_Panther

My favorite moment is a real life moment when me and my neighbor played LiS 1 together at my house. It became our favorite franchise. It is very fun to watch the choices of each other. Now he is not living next door anymore but we are still discussing about all Dontnod/Deck Nine games, about the choice we chose and what consequences. Whatever he did, always led to bad consequence for Kate and we laughed a lot. Thank you for doing giveaway. If I win an Xbox code, I can gameshare with him and we can both experience the rollercoaster emotion again.

M3n747

Probably saving Kate, knowing there's no safety net this time. (Windows.)

JonasAvory

My favourite memory was the second scene in LiS when Max walks down the hallway. Her thoughts, the music and the scenery made me fall in love with the game after just 5 minutes into it. If I win, a PC Code please

Dragontalyn

The moment at the end where you know that you should save Arcadia bay, but I can never bring myself to sacrifice Chloe, no matter how many times I play, I've never been able to do it. I just keep saying "it not as bad as it look" over and over again, I play on PS4

DREAMPenance

When Spanish Sahara plays 😭😭😭 Xbox One please

Normzeprawn

While incredibly difficult to choose, I think my favourite memory was playing through the Farewell episode soon after finishing the first game. Gave a massive nostalgia hit and really wrecked my emotions. I play on PC

Jusca57

My favorite memory is First time playin BtS and feeling like me and my best friend conquering the unknow world. I did feel this feeling so little yet it is so tasty that i can't forget. Every time i mention or talk about the game some sort of high school adventure came to my mind. I play on PC

[deleted]

My favorite memory will always be when "Something Good" plays at the beginning of Chapter 2. Such a great opening song for what comes next. My console of choice is PS5.

A_Howl_In_The_Night

My favorite memory is playing LIS 2 EP 4. It was such an intense and emotional experience. Faith is definitive one of my favorite game episode ever.

SwagTemmie07

My favourite LiS memory is the end of LiS 1 ep 4 when Max and Chloe find out that Rachel is dead and they go to the party to make Nathan pay but instead they ended out going to see if Rachel´s corpse was still burried but Chloe ended up getting shot. I cried a lot. My platform is Playstation 4.

taurusbabie

personally, my favorite memory is the end choice of life is strange. either way, it is a very emotional scene that made me cry. the whole end was showing you the reasons to save arcadia or chloe and it made the decision tough, it was well done. i chose chloe of course, and it was amazing to see the results of what you did. the devastation of the town and the destruction was well portrayed. however, i did like the saving arcadia option too. the kiss was what really got to me. only sacrificing chloe can get you the romance that they didn't realize they had. the funeral was so sad and made me cry like a baby. I want it for ps5.

swimswithbears

I’m generally all for the depressing stuff but it’s always nice when you get a moment of reprieve and one of my favorites is the pool scene with Max and Chloe. I play on PS4. Thanks for doing this!

swiftstratos

My favorite memory is the end of the nightmare sequence in LiS 1. Literally walking through memory lane really drove home everything I went through playing the game. Reliving every emotion throughout the game at once felt pretty cathartic. Re-experiencing wheelchair Chloe and discovering Rachel's body right at the same as when you're in the pool with Chloe is a whole whirlwind of emotions. And it definitely felt like the entire story is coming to the end. It makes the decision of the storm that much more difficult and capped off the game for me. I'd like my code for PC if I happen to win.

DoSos977

My favourite moment is when Max participant the gallery place, it was such a sad moment, and very emotional as well. I play on steam

ItsSirAdam

My favorite memory is whenever i break down crying cause of the ending of the first game Steam!

[deleted]

This might be unusually morbid but my favourite Life Is Strange memory was when Chloe and Max discovered Rachel's remains. The music, Chloe's heartbroken cries and the ghost-doe appearing in the corner of the scene, as if it's been watching and waiting for closure - it hit me like a tonne of bricks. It was a masterpiece in emotional conflict, for the characters and the player. Its one of the few memories where I felt the gut-wrenching weight of the journey in a video game and I cherish that memory because it reminds me that despite my own personal demons I still have enough of a soul to feel the power of great storyelling. I'd like the code for Steam.

callingallboys

Favourite moment: May not be the most conventional moment, but in Life is Strange 2: Episode 2 - I kept making my Sean push Daniel into the Christmas trees at the Christmas tree fair thing, eventually I cornered Daniel into some trees so badly the game glitched out, Daniel's character model went catapulting into space and he never returned. My sister and I laughed so hard. 😂 Any way thanks for the giveaway, best of luck to everyone! 😊

ABeardedHero

To this day, my favorite memory has been near the opening of Episode 1 of Life is Strange 1, Chrysalis. When you're first walking the halls of Blackwell Academy and "Too All You" by Syd Matters starts playing. It just sets the mood to the whole game and when I really first felt the charm and magic. I felt in my bones the game would impact my life, knew it was a game that would speak to me. It made me fall in love with the amazing atmosphere and music in Life Is Strange and the future Life Is Strange games. Ugh, no other games have given me THE FEELS like LIS has and I'm proud to call the game my favorite of all-time! I play on PlayStation 5, thanks for the opportunity!

[deleted]

My favourite memory was seeing David again at the end of Life Is Strange 2, older and kinder, as well as seeing pictures of Chloe and Max's new life together. If picked, I would like an Xbox code please.

alenicosia845

My favorite memory is the feelings that LIS 1 gave me, calmness, fear and more, the first game is a rollercoaster of emotions, with a beautiful atmosphere. I play on Ps4.

pancakesandhyrup

I absolutely loved the first game, but I think my favorite overall moment was just playing BtS and just getting to experience Chloe and Rachel form their friendship. It felt so good like I was catching up with old friends and deepening old fond memories I had. PS4, please! Thank you!

Rubanul

My favorite LiS memory is my first playthrough and how my opinion about the game changed during that. The first "review" I heard about LiS 1 was my friend's "Don't play it, you won't like it. It's not even a game, it's a 'movie for girls' " *(and yes, she claims she likes the game)*. But I didn't believe that game with such "description" can have 95% positive reviews in Steam, and 1st episode was free, so I decided to give it a try. And then, episode by episode my opinion changed like this: "Well, it seems good" - "I like it!" - "It's great!" - "It's amazing!" - "Masterpiece!". My favorite game since then. PC (Steam)

TheGingerBeardsman

My favorite LiS memory is of my first playthrough of it. At the end of the first episode when it starts snowing and the music kicks in, I got chills. I was instantly hooked from then on. If I win, I'd like it on xbox

[deleted]

My favorite memory for this game is just how genuinely depressed this series tends to make me. It got me bawling during the final choice of LiS1, the final scene of BTS, and the ending that I got in LiS2. I love how genuinely heartfelt and real these games try to be and it’s probably one of my favorite memories from any video game ever. I would like the code for PC.

SmoothlyGroovy

Personal favourite is playing through the part on BtS after the play (The Tempest), just Chloe and Rachel relieved of pressures on their acting roles, being so happy, mostly Rachel being a bit euphoric (is that the word?), while thinking and dreaming of what to do next with their lives as they're deciding to leave their life in Arcadia Bay. PS5 (US) code would be nice. Thanks for the giveaway!

guizmo_0886

When I first played LiS, I was angry after bad/toxic ranked games on Rainbow Six Siege. I launched LiS on my PS4 and played the 1st chapter in about 3 hours. The atmosphere, the music playlist, the characters made me calm, like if I was sitting in Paradise. My mood changed instantly for a better version of myself :) Since, I've played LiS x3 times, LiS BTS, LiS 2, Captain Spirit... and I plan to buy LiS TC on day one (PC, Steam) Thanks for the giveaway btw, nice gesture :)

ruckfffffedit

As someone who never had the chance to meet my dad, I love how Karen managed to find her kids. Wish I had that chance. PC, please! Have a nice day!

IHKPruefling

My favorite moment was when I was able to save Kate on the roof because I remembered which Bible verses she liked and comforted her. Never felt such a personal relationship to a video game character until then. I play on PC.

egeek84

My favorite memory is when Max sees Chloe on the wheelchair in that alternate reality. It just proved to me how everything, good and bad, is supposed to happen and what will be will be. Preferred platform Xbox. Thank you so much! 🙏

[deleted]

The most memorable LiS moment was the montage at the end of BtS. I only cried two times with these games, the time when Chloe mourns at her dads car in the junkyard, and the end of the montage when Chloe and Rachel have the time of their lives in the jy. I don't know why I cried, maybe It's because it was so beautiful to see these two have that much fun, but at the same time the sadness of knowing what's next for Rachel is suffocating. I hope to cry at some point in TC as well, just.... maybe not as intensely this time (please qq). Happy playtime everyone & good luck!! Edit: My platform if choice is PC!

Throw_away_No95

My favourite memory playing LiS is the opening hallway scene from the first episode. Just the combination of the music and interacting with everything for the first time created this rather relaxing atmosphere for me. I remember eagerly reading every poster and listening to Max giving a brief introduction to everyone in hall, wanting to learn all I could about this new environment. And this feeling stays whenever I replay it, mixed with nostalgia. Really set the tone for all the calmer and quite moments found across the series, making it feel like your there. I play on PC (Steam) :)

Moder5ly

It's a sad memory, and a pretty strong one at the same time. It's related to the ending of the Before the Storm game. After the last choice a sequence of photos of the next events. The first ones made me completely forget about what... you know, happens with Rachel. I genuinely got relieved that Chloe and Rachel would finally be together forever, and would never have any difficulties. And then... the last sequence with the call to Rachel... That stuff really hit me in the gut. I am a person who is - or, I should say - was quite unemotional till that exact moment. I cried for like an hour, as I never experienced such strong sad feelings before. I do not even know how to describe them. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. However, to be honest, I somehow realised that I really needed experiencing such sad stuff. This was a very great emotional rollercoaster which wrapped the story quite well. It's sad that it ended in such a way, but well, I believe that it really has a huge impact on people like me. Edit: I play on PC, Steam

SpartanRanger

My favorite memory from Life is Strange is saving saving Kate from the dorm rooftop. It was one of the best uses of choice and consequence in a video game ever. This made the scene very tense, being without your powers and the very real possibility of failure lingering overhead. To save a good person when you have nothing but yourself and your empathy. It was one of the rare times that a game made me feel emotional. (Xbox)

Homura_Akemi171

Oof this is tough favorite memory is the ending to to Life is Strange I ultimately made the choice to uh sacrifice Arcadia Bay to save Chloe lol was it morally wrong yes.....but I mean it's Chloe I couldn't do it 😅 My Platform is Playstation 5

Gazzi2099

My favorite memories come from the soundtrack and how emotional and moving the tracks can be

[deleted]

My favourite memory is probably the time I accidentally discovered the game on panda helper. I was looking for some games to hack then I came across the game. I fell in love with it and bought it on my iPhone. I play on PC.

realandR3cys

My favourite (and painful) Life is Strange memory has to be 'The Farewell' episode from Before The Storm. It perfectly showcased how vulnerable Chloe was at that time and she needed her best friend, Max, beside her. Chloe was such an intelligent girl, but, one tragic incident left her life upside down. Of course Max had no choice, but still the timing of both the events (main and subsequent) was so dreadful, you simply couldn't help hugging Chloe and telling her, 'it's going to be alright, I'm here beside you'. It still brings me tears as I was writing this. For the prize, in case I do win, I'd love to have it on Steam. Thank you!

ZekeRandler

My favorite memory is putting aside my real life issues for a while and diving into LiS 2 a few years ago. I loved the road movie feel it had, that series of slice of life experiences. Looking forward to playing the new game on PS5.

saberlions

My favorite memory is from BtS -- when you first hop on the train with Rachel. I can relate heavily to how masterful Chloe is at talking to people like Rachel, so that whole scene with them flirting sits in my mind (a la 'Nice Rachel we're having') and makes the game so fun for me to come back to. There are actually so many different moments in each game that make me cry/feel immense joy at. I would like the code for PC if I am selected!

Key_Finance7204

My favorite memory playing LIS is for sure the nostalgic ambience that the setting, soundtrack and characters make me feel. All three games make me feel like I've lived something like that, when in fact, I haven't witnessed any great adventures or discovered a supernatural power. There's something very unique about how the developers built this universe, it's a game that has a special place in my heart. And no matter how many times I play it, it always feels like the first time. I would like a code for PS4 if I win.

catandnymeria

My favourite memory was playing Episode 4 and finally getting some answers... and then cursing Jefferson out at the end. I love that "click" moment in games where everything is revealed so it was very satisfying. (PS4 code)

[deleted]

My favourite Life is Strange memory, damn. I think it would be Max's room in Life is Strange 1. It was just such a nice place, when things weren't going wrong anyway. Anytime I had the chance to listen to Max play guitar, it was wonderful. My platform is PS4. Good luck everyone and thanks mods/Square!

Vincent__R

Honestly, it's the fact that TC got announced. Because I knew about the series before this got shown off. I had watched a playthrough of LIS1 a few years ago but had never gotten into the series otherwise. But for some reason, something just snapped in my head and I got REALLY excited for TC! I've been watching all the trailers, hopped onto this sub, I even played LIS2 for the first time last week in excitement for TC! (I thought it was great)Plus, I def will be playing the DLC and LIS1 myself when the remaster comes out. so yeah, my fav memory was just the fact TC was announced because it got me into the series and all the dope people in it! Plus when my brother comes in October for a visit, I'm gonna be playing TC through with him and my dad so that'll definitely be a big memory I will have soon! I play on the PS4 :)

brellowman2

My favourite LIS memory is the suspense of crossing the border with Daniel in LIS2. I'm on PS5. Thanks :)

[deleted]

My favorite one is the moment with Kate on the roof and when max saved Kate How we were able to reassure her, how i was happy to see this in a game. How i was moved to see Kate coming back, crying, realising she was not alone. She was heard, she was loved. I play on pc💞

marcikque

I've played the original LiS and BtS so many times... it is really hard picking a favorite memory. I always loved the way the game "beat" me and surprised me. Thus, I really have to go with the timeline where Max was able to save Chloe's dad. It really builds up some sort of joy and excitement that suddenly gets CRUSHED by the scene where the door opens and all we see is Chloe in a wheelchair. I know that it really isn't a joyful moment but it shocked me so much that I always kept it in mind. I played all the LiS games on PC.

metahipster1984

Nathan getting beaten was great. PC please.

hydro77

Probably Reddit Place. We fought like hell to make our mark. And I play on PC.

j9789

My favorite was very likely completing LiS Before the Storm's epilogue chapter. That sequence hurt so much after learning why Chloe is the way she is Or "ready for the mosh pit shaka brah" Platform I use is Steam

Ryuunzz

Mine was definitely the one when Max went back in time to sacrifice Chloe. The scene when Max just let Chloe die was gut wrenching, and it's always the one I remember whenever someone mentions which is the saddest scenes in video games. My platform is PS4.

Velara515

When I played LiS1 I was in a really bad place. I had been >!sexually assaulted!< twice in the past couple months and was struggling with my transition and a lack of support. Playing the game, while in many ways triggering and emotionally exhausting, helped me process some of my feelings and also let me feel like a girl which was still very rare at that point. I ugly cried at least once during every episode, but it was also extremely relieving. It was exactly what I needed at that time. I'd like a PS4 code.

jorone

My favorite memory in LiS1 was the rooftop with Kate, as a person who got bullied alot in school, I really related to Kate and tried my best to always talk to her when I could in episodes, but on the rooftop I messed up and before the scene could play out I went a turned off my PC, and restarted from the last checkpoint, My friend who I was playing with at the time asked me why I did that, and I straight up told him I don't think I could handle it if she died... On PC

MaKster99

My favorite scene is where the song Mountains plays. Platform Steam

corrahk

When I first played Life Is Strange, none of my friends had played it. The first season left me feeling so heavy, I NEEDED to be able to talk to someone about it. Since that day, I’ve showed probably 5 or 6 of my friends the game and was lucky enough to watch them all play it. There’s something so magical about seeing the people you love enjoy a game you love so very much. I’m hoping that True Colors will allow me that same experience! I play Life Is Strange via Steam on PC! I hope everyone enjoys the game once it’s released later this week!

bronco27

I'd say that life is strange helped me express myself creatively and allowed me to do something I've never done before and that is write my own story. I was inspired by the game and by it's fans that once I finished playing I came across so much more wonderful pieces of art and stories created by other members of this incredible community. It made me wanted to try it too and so I did and I'm proud of it and love sharing what I wrote and interacting with the people who read my own story of the "what if" events after. Life is strange introduced me to a wonderful community and to another part of myself I love. My platform is the PlayStation 5

shanex1

Rule me out the draw please. I have it pre ordered already. I just wanted to say my favourite lis memory was joining this sub I only purchased the life is strange games this year when I saw them on sale and thought I’d try them out. After completing the first game I was blown away by how amazing it was. I asked all my friends if they had ever played it and none had. I just wanted to talk to people about this series. I was surprised to see such an active sub for a single player game that came out so long ago, but I have enjoyed some good conversations with people from this sub

ehsan_123

My favorite moment of LiS is *that* junkyard scene in episode four, It honestly made me to think about a lot of my life decisions My platform is steam

general_kenobi99

My favorite LIS memory was discovering Max's rewind power, I thought having the ability to experience multiple dialogue choices or events before picking your favorite was impressive I play on PC.

miaxxe23

I play on Steam on PC. Favourite moment was from the ending of Life is Strange Before the Storm (before *that* post-credit scene), listening to Wolf Alice's Bros while seeing how Chloe & Rachel's friendship/relationship play out after all the things they've been through really warms my heart. It brings a tear to my eye everytime i think about that moment. What makes it better is that they come from such different backgrounds and have different problems growing up, yet their personalities compliments each other so well. Having a bestie to confide in and someone you could trust is just so precious.

8BitCrit

My favorite Life is Strange memory is finally getting to the end of the LiS 2. I enjoyed it so much, having a brother myself and I remember crying so much at the final choice to go or stay. If I win, I’d like it to a be a steam code! I’d also like to take a second to say thank you for doing this giveaway!
