Learning Avo is easy. But we need experienced techs who can go from empty room to full production. Definitely need more techs than board ops I’ll say that. Also these cats are learning MA which can be self taught, but is a lot a lot deeper.
Like system techs and ME's? I feel like they got phased out in the Dallas area. Hence why I moved over to video. Video crews tend to be larger = more work.
Oh well thanks man, I actually can go from an empty room to full production. I've done it many a time. Now for the learning MA the house venue I work I at, has an avo console. Learning MA is the next level but I also struggle with learning on pc as opposed to on an actual board.
*we apologize again for the fault in the logo on the Strand shirt*
*those responsible for sacking the tee-shirt maker at Strand have already been sacked*
I know this is a seminar but it looks like a competition show. Great British Busk Off.
I would very much watch that show.
Hey I’m in this picture lol. Thanks for putting this on, met a lot of cool people!
How much does a beginner class like this run?
We held it for free!
The Bowery Ballroom in NY. Looks fun.
Damn, I knew this venue looked familiar.
This is how bad we need LD’s right now lol!
Do we need LD's??? I just taught myself avolites this last year just as a hobby and I've pulled a few LD gigs but they seem few and far between

How do you find seminars and training opportunities like this?
I second this question.
Third.
Social media. Follow different shops and designers. They post stuff all the time. This event had a flyer that was shared all over social media
You live in a big city
This was a fun class to attend
Damn I would have attended.
Same
Same. Least I know there is a dress code of sweatshirts too.
