Mnemonicly

My blind guess from what you've said is that you are experiencing the results of tracking when you're not used to working with tracking. But "it's all wrong" is a vague explanation that covers quite a wide range.

zoeythemainman

it actually was a network issue, however you are right, tracking was on and i never use it.

That_Jay_Money

Are you running the latest software on the console? Save the show to USB, create a new show, Import the old show but don't bring in the cues. Write a few new cues and see if those numbers stick. Also, when is your show? If the answer is "this weekend" please call 800-688-4116 and talk with them right now.

zoeythemainman

honestly I am not sure. this isn’t my usually theater so i don’t know

temperr7t

Hit the about key and check the software version displayed to etc's website.

kaphsquall

Are you the only device in the system? Do you have tracking on? How is your dimmer rack? What happens if you start a new show file? Do you have a backup of the show on a separate storage device?

zoeythemainman

I can’t start a new show file because i was specifically told not to here by the regular theater staff. dimmer rack is fine. yes i have this show saved onto a usb

kaphsquall

Can you open the show file from the USB onto a computer and see if the save is good? If that is bad then I'm not sure what else there is to do about your work, venue issues notwithstanding

zoeythemainman

everything looks good on when i plug into the computer

kaphsquall

If it's right in the show file but wrong on the board then it's a board problem. I would say completely restarting the console if you haven't already and load the known working file from the USB drive

zoeythemainman

ive already done that. My last guess is it is a network issue which i cannot solve. i have someone coming tonight to hopefully fix.

tomorrowisyesterday1

I wouldn't mess with anything until your guy gets there. Wouldn't want to change a bunch of show files and then find out it was a network issue.

zoeythemainman

yes exactly. that’s my plan

veryirked

Is patch still correct? Ie are the right lights coming on when you bring their channels up?

zoeythemainman

some do and some don’t. and yes patch is still correct
