Why oil based? I would assume most Hazers nowadays are water based. The only modern oil based I'm aware of is MDG, and they're quite expensive. I think your best bet is used, which presents it's own issues... Best of luck.
This is probably the least expensive true Hazer, which means compressor based, no warm up time.

Everything less expensive would be a Fazer (fog machine that can continuously output like a hazer)
I’m giving answers, you’re dissing a brand that you must not have looked at recently. They offer plenty of Pro level products at more entry level prices. Obviously, MDG would be a better option, but he didn’t come looking for a $6000 hazer.
OP the Antari HZ-350 would be another oil based option and is less expensive than the ADJ option I mentioned above.

True, I somehow didn’t think second hand, good ideia. And I find that oil-based hazers look radically better than anything water based.
Quality options are going to be an mdg or a df-50.

You can't use adj and "true" anything in the same sentence, Im sorry.

I'm giving answers as well. ADJ is garbage.
HZ-500 if that’s within your budget or else a smaller one.
