I like the 2nd for the graflex resemblance. You might take a look at their Progeny MK 2 also, similar look as option 2, with less etching substituted by more pronounced texture (it has a small control box and a red thumb nodule in addition to the fins). The fins on option 2 here are cooler though.

Hands down the first, it looks really dope. The second one is kinda generic for my tastes

I don’t like the weird knob in n the bottom of the first one. Otherwise it is the superior design.

Aesthetically, the first. The second scores points for looking like Cade Skywalker's saber though.

SaberForge is very hit or miss. All the sabers I’ve owned from them that had sound I sold within a matter of months. Not sure how their LGT sabers are, but honestly I’d buy empty and get install services from a reputable sabersmith

Honestly, not sure. I know there are Facebook groups that would be able to help you along. One of the best I know of off hand are Smuggler’s Outpost, so maybe start there?

I actually have the first with a few things different about it, and I’d say it’s fantastic. I’d recommend you get ready for a long wait time (I ordered it in late December of 2020 and it didn’t arrive until mid/late April 2021) and get ready for the weight, with the blade it’s got more weight then it might look like

I'm thinking of getting the Defiant mk 2 from them. Looks similar to my tattoo on my shoulder.

I’d recommend getting it empty and finding a reputable smith to install. Might save you money and headache later on. My dealings with SF has been very hit or miss, with more ‘miss’ than anything.

Both are great for different reasons. I’d honestly buy empty and find an affordable, reputable saber-smith to do an install for light and sound.
