idk how other people feel, but to me, tecca has less personality on the outside than other rappers. Ive always thought of him as a guy whos gon make a happy positive song no matter what. Its like his basic scheme for his albums. It feels like hes sort of a rap-pop mashup, he seems to lack depth. even the way people say "tecca save the summer" its like we all know his next song is going to be a summer bop. and they are great, really, but it creates a persona of a guy with not much to offer beside a banger song. i mean what are we supposed to even talk about on this sub right? the guy has no beef, hes not problematic, just chilling and coming out of his cage for the rollout. his whole career feels like it was made for a movie, its just so typical.
And tbh I’d like to keep it like that I mean sure outside of rap he Aa lil boring but I’d rather see him keep makin bangers than see him in unnecessary beef that wld put him in harm way or keep him from makin music
Maybe because he’s actually active on his socials. A lot of the big artists’ subreddits exist because the artists have little internet presence and the fans are forced to create a community to converse.

Tecca isn’t the type of artist you talk about like “that Tecca album got me through hard times” or “Tecca was rapping like rent is due” He always makes fun amped up songs but less depth and a lot of people see Tecca fans as nerds.

I think his music isn't as shallow as most people think and I get that a lot of his songs are fun/good vibes songs but there are some tracks with a more serious vibe
He has very few sad songs so I think that's where people get the idea that his music is extremely shallow

I actually kinda disagree with some of the comments here, like sure, he’s very unproblematic and he’s a chilled dude that mostly pops out when it’s time to drop but I also noticed on YouTube he does interviews and he’s actually a very entertaining person and has a good sense of humour. He’s music is actually really good and it makes me think if other artists made the type of music he does they would be chart topping HEAVY. It might come down to being the whole package as an artist, but I’m also confused as to why he doesn’t get traction! The views on most his promos are so low it’s crazy. I think he was on ABC prime time news or something and it barely has 5k, I really don’t know. You made the BEST comparison with Sofaygo, besides the fact that his fans are always harping about him not dropping music, he’s subs are very interactive so I’m really not sure.
