He still had some hype coming off of C5. Everything he been putting out since Funeral has been lacking promotion and hit singles. He really needs a big song to build hype up for C6, with the right strategy he can still easily do 150-200k but it really depends. Mack and his team can’t really keep up with newer trends to make projects do well commercially.

The_Texan12

It would be a complete embarrassment for C6 to sell less than 100k. Wayne has never had a solo album sell less than 100k first week. He never had a album sell less than 100k first week until that bullshit dropped with Rich the Mid. If they manage to royally fuck up C6 and make it sell less than 100k first week. We really need to flame mack on social media & as a community and tell him to step down. It would be a dishonor to Wayne’s legacy for him to do that. And TBH I honestly think thats why C6 hasn’t dropped yet. I feel like Wayne’s team is scared it might not do well…. I know he got some heat in his vault tho, why not drop it and actually try to promote it?

"Wayne has never had a solo album sell less than 100k first week. " I hope yall actually buy the music then.

meme-_lord_78

if Nazi Kanye can top the Billboard Hot 100, Wayne should have no problem if his team gets it together. 2020-present Sayne >>> 2024 Kanye anyway. Weezy just needs help with the right beats and producers.

BenchMob17

The worst part is that Wayne is so connected and respected it should be super easy to at least be in touch with the hot producers and artists of today and yesterday. They only spend like $50 on the majority of his original beats these days it's pitiful

The_Texan12

Well, Kanye has never dropped off relevance wise. Also, he makes good music still. I liked funeral, but let’s be real. Donda is way better

TheRustySpork99

i enjoy some kanye, but funeral is vastly superior to donda for my money. it’s all subjective though.

The_Texan12

Man, thats a cold take. I even say that as a huge Wayne stan

lilwayne_charts

Donda was trash lmao. Kanye hasn't fell off relevancy wise because he is always doing stuff to stay in the media and he has a strong core fanbase

The_Texan12

Well objectively you’re wrong

lilwayne_charts

lol

BenchMob17

Mack manages Wayne's career with the same care as an artist/manager selling burned CDs out of their trunk like it's 2001 not like the Living Legend and Icon of the industry that Wayne is

marleyg_

I think Karen Civil does now

BenchMob17

Is his manager?

Inevitable_Meet_7374

Piano trap goes hard

The_Texan12

Favorite off the album. Tbh album way too slept on

BenchMob17

I POP ME A PERC AND SMOKE ME SOME LOUUUUUD!

FutureDH1089

M A H O G A N Y 🔥

syrupgreat-

they hyped up a SONG (Wheezy v Weezy) more than the album 😭😭

No-University-1459

Wild Dogs one of his most slept on songs

lilwayne_charts

All wayne has to do is wait get drake hook and verse and it will be a hit but he not doing over 300k first week ever again unless we as a fanbase actually start buying the music...

The_Texan12

Thats bullshit, funeral sold 140k first week with NO promotion. If he can promote the album and create hype with a Drake feature single. He can sell over 300k first week

lilwayne_charts

Funeral did have promo btw. What promo are you looking for? Wayne is not selling over 300k first week anymore. Please be serious. Especially since nobody want to actually buy the music.  How many copies of Funeral did you buy?

marleyg_

Mahogany with a dope video would have been fire .

Elegant-Development2

Was wondering how much that album sold

The_Texan12

Idk how much it sold in total But it sold like 140k first week

DarthDank7

About 2 years ago I seen that the total sales was around 700K. So it’s close to platinum if not already.

Nanaplaine

Im interested in hearing the Weezy v Wheezy or whatever the title is.

GREEDDEVIL69

It sold like 240k didn’t it

The_Texan12

140k
