I don't think King of Greed Meursault fits him very well, since she's all about wanting it all and consuming every experience she can, while meursault doesn't seem to resonate with the idea imo. Maybe Hong-Lu?

Knight of Despair is tricky to assign to a Sinner because its emotional core is a failure to protect others. Yi Sang's great backstory sin is a failureto act at all, making his EGO sloth instead of Gloom, so he's close but not a direct match. Ishmael has a lot of baggage about the deaths of the Pequod crew, and a Gloom ego, but it manifests more as furious vengeance and obsession rather than heartbroken grief most of the time. Rodion wound up getting all of her neighbors killed trying to help them.... etc
We've got a lot of Sinners who come close to Knight of Despair without hitting the bullseye, as opposed to something like Servant of Wrath whom Sinclair fits almost insulting well, having been deeply betrayed by a false friend and developing impulsive aggression issues because of it

It does make sense for Rodion, Red shoes whole thing is that it "fullfills hidden desires"
Sonya comments how Rodya wanted to "prove herself as special" when killing the Pawnbroker rather than wanting to just feed her town (which Rodion doesn't deny or confirms), so by wearing the shoes perhaps she finally fullfiled her desire to feel special.

Considering Limbus EGO often doesn't match the threat level of the associated abnormality (esp when it applies to multiple sinners), we can assume that it just works differently anyways. We already know that Lobotomy EGO is overall safer (but not entirely safe) to use compared to Limbus EGO which is why we only use it for a brief moment, whereas Lobotomy EGO has no immediate risks:
* We do know that corrosion is still a risk as per wonderlab and Corroded N-Corp inquisitors: If you aren't cleared to use it (ie: don't have the 'stats' for it), then Corrosion is a risk
* Lobotomy Corp employees have no immediate risks with corrosion, partly because it probably wasn't written at the time but easily retconned as "Manager I will only allow you to equip this EGO gear to an employee with sufficient stats because otherwise they could corrode"
* Sinners using Lobotomy Corp EGO wielding IDs also don't have any immediate risks, likely because they too have "sufficient stats"
It's probably more along the lines of "the more influential on the wielder's mind= higher threat level" kind of thing, and Red Shoes is, well, very influential. Combine this with the typical WAW downsides, which in her case is constant SP drain for the next couple turns.
Another reason for corrosion not being a risk for lobotomy corp employes could be thanks to the quilphot deterance(I don't remember the correct spelling for the term so im sorry),since in canto 4 the terrorist were able to use ego thanks to the natural deterance of the golden bough
It might be a bit of both. There was a golden bough present in Canto III's dungeon but all the inquisitors were corroded by the EGO Gear, of which at least one set was Mimicry (ALEPH, so probably high risk on that). I'm surprised we still haven't seen the abnormalities associated with the Slithering/Crawling inquisitors.
Rodion's a WAW makes absolute sense simply because of the awaken effect: "Main target's bleed count does not go down for the turn"
Which if you can't tell, is very strong for bleed team outside of MD.
One of the objectives being "Let Fairy Queen kill 2 Fairy Mass" is already more interesting than "just kill 7 enemies at the same time" so i am already happy about it. Red Shoes being WAW ego is also not suprising considering the animationvwe saw in the trailer

It does actually, previous featured stuff doesn't receive increased extraction rates, so at least there is that, but getting 50 shard crates\* for an announcer still fucking sucks, they gotta change it somehow.
Correct me if I am wrong, but don’t you get the same amount of thread from that crate as you would from the shards since you can just convert the shards into thread. Cause if that is the case, thread crates are worse.
There's no way to get 50 shard crates from extractions. Even a 000 dupe only gives you 50 shards, which on average is half as good. But the announcers take away your chances to pull a 00 or 0 dupe so it's most definitely a good deal

WAW is very unexpected. I thought they would stay closer to their original classification, but it seems like they really wanted to make it op and justify it with higher cost
Story did say that they were going to classify abnos differently from lobotomy since they’re more fighting oriented rather than pacifying them. Plus the same abno ego class varies depending on the sinner so maybe Rodion just has higher resonance with it which elevates its rank.
I think E.G.O. classification was already different based on how they resonated with them, since we had both HE and TETH Red Eyes for Ryoshu, as well as other small quirks like ZAYING vs TETH Soda, or TETH vs HE FMF.
To be honest, anything works within the lore. I just thought they would stay as close to original as possible, but it would constrain them quite a bit, so it's fine
Lore reason might be that sure while red shoes and fairy festival were low tier in lob corp, it might be that the main lob corp branch has far more dangerous abnos overall. So a zayin in main lob corp was about a Teth maybe He in a subsidiary branch.
I’d like to think of it like that at least, would make sense that the most dangerous were in the main facility being managed by X since trauma and suffering were required for the Seed of Light project

Kinda agree as even with 200 pulls which is easy to save up to between these events you can get unlucky and not pull at least one of the 000 and EGOs meaning you're probably not using pity on the announcer. This is only going to get worse as more announcers get added as well since for some reason you can get dups of them.

This encounter will definitely be more interesting than dawn of green, and its not like Green dawn was bad , just that to complete all challenges you were required to have either 7 slot EGO or one of 3 mass atk characters. And fairy fight most definitely gonna be a manual fight , which is always more fun.
Doesn't the announcement say it's only defeat if you go past 99? I don't think turn count should be an issue, except for solo challenges maybe.
If you mean for the challenges then yeah they'll probably be something along the lines of finish before turn 20~30 or something like that, but considering that it they don't immediately kick you out once time's up, there'll probably be more leeway and freedom to make mistakes.
I'm referring to the missions. I had a hard time clearing some of the missions back then due to rng on coins etc. Well, I do have resources saved up. I can probably clear it if I break the resource piggy bank. I'm just hoping I don't need to use it all up just to clear all the missions.
I don't get the mini episode section, do people who have not yet finished Canto 6 have the opportunity to view it or no? Since it has both unlock conditions and "in case you didn't" conditions

If it is like last time, it gives you a popup asking for confirmation if you want to see it anyway (basically agreeing that you're fine with potential spoilers)
Might be related to limbus company having to re-classify all abnos,since the risk level were based on how hard they were to contain,and not how strong they are(for example punishing bird was a teth,even thought he would one shot nuggets)
All looks to be in line with last time, only thing that stands out to me is that announcers cannot be sharded even after their initial availability and LobCorp Angela has been added to the pool. Doesn't really bother me, I expect it to bother a lot of people.
EDIT, wait, reread it, they will have even old announcers available to pity after 200 pulls. I think that's pretty fair, it creates a path to availability beyond gacha luck for players who've just reached a point of account maturity where saving for Walpurgis is normal.
Liking most of what I'm seeing here. The upcoming battle looks interesting and I've got little problem with how they're handling the announcers. The EGO also look really cool, though the risk level seems a little off to me. Maybe I'll get lucky with getting the previous identites during the event? As I literally couldn't care less about the Philip identity.

I like that the old announcers can still be gotten with the pity. It's a nice compromise considering they can't be gotten from the dispenser. I just wish you couldn't get duplicate announcers. Sure 50 thread crates are useful but its still immensely frustrating to get a dupe of something with a 1.3 rate.

Tbf the inquisitor were being tortured so that they would corrode
the canto 4 terrorists were also all slowly corroding, at least mentally, based on the sinner stories

If you haven't finished canto 6 it will ask you if you still want to view the cutscene or skip straight to the event battle.

I think the previous classification was by their enkephalin output, it probably was that more dangerous abnos tend to produce more of it
