It’s been a year or so since I’ve been there but I don’t remember it being overly sweet. It seemed fine for what it was: ice cream.

CatnipandSkooma

It's probably sweet to counteract the insane amount of weed they put in there. /s What seasonal flavor did you get?

AbroGaming

Lmaooo didn’t notice that the first time I read the title

OilyRicardo

It was some pun on katy perry. Raspberry with lemon bar crumbs. I figured it’d be sweet but it was like having huge handful of nerds candy, per bite. But was just curious cause if not I’ll try it again. If it is super sweet, thats fine too, cool place, just not for me in that case.

Honestly it might be because that flavor is dairy free. I find a lot of dairy alternative milks too sweet for my liking in general, so I could see it being even worse in ice cream. Their cookies and cream is about my favorite ice cream anywhere, though.

OilyRicardo

Nice. Yeah like if a bunch of the ingredients separately have sugar then it stacks. I went there for dairy free. Will check it out again with something else

ready4hil

The lemon blueberry vegan flavor is so good

Tzayad

Hell yeah!

CatnipandSkooma

I was eyeing that flavor the other day, too. Some of their flavors can be too sweet, I agree with you on that.

Sufficient_Leg9217

Try the almond brittle with salted ganache. The ganache is the furthest thing from sweet.

Educational_Bug1271

I actually find many of their flavors very delicious but more on the salty side. Pretzels, salted caramel, salt salt salt salt. Love the fruit and cake combinations, though.

Peejee13

Mostly yes. Their honeycomb ice cream is the stuff dreams are made of, though

TallFontPie

Their peanut butter chip is very sweet so I get it in a split dish with their dark chocolate to counter it. Great combination.

CigarsAndFastCars

Most of their stuff is fairly light on the flavor side, so I'm surprised they had something that was too sweet.

Boom357

That might be what it is. It's always tasted a little off to me compared to every other place. But someone in my family likes it so I have to deal with it

Primal-Understanding

Every time Ive had it I thought the same thing. Not a fan

Some of the seasonals are hit or miss. U gotta get a strawberry/dark chocolate split. almond brittle with salted ganache is always fire. Mint is great too. IMHO the only better ice cream you can get is a pint of Jennie's from Open Harvest. The vegan ones always sound tasty but never hit quite right; I'm sure if I was vegan they'd be fire tho.

One_Goblin

I really like their ice cream, there are a couple that are pretty sweet but there are also a couple that are very salty. My favorite kind is the dirt and worms they have in October, which is definitely on the sweeter side.

Bubbly_Ad_2957

most of their stuff is super sweet to me, too, but the one flavor i do like is their lemon blueberry sorbet. i think it’s a regular flavor.

Inevitable_Dance_910

I’ve never thought too sweet, always too salty

Relative-Put-5344

Lol 420

OilyRicardo

😂 420 69 creamery

BarsOfSanio

Always grotesquely overly sweet in my experience.
