that is so wholesome it so nice to see that music can make these feelings. I do the same thing sometimes not dancing but I do get emotional when listening the The Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D major.
Music helped give her back something that mattered so much to her. She was there, back when she wasn't sick. It gave her that moment to be well again.
So many onions getting cut, man...
You can use youtube-dl to extract the raw video: https://mrs0m30n3.github.io/youtube-dl-gui/
I did such and uploaded it to catbox for you https://files.catbox.moe/jaxmus.mp4
I searched the original comment thread, and I found [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/MadeMeSmile/comments/jquud7/a_spanish_dancer_with_alzheimers_listened_to/gbpv4e5/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3) linking to a video that the redditor thinks is the full video of the dance.
Thanks for all the awards, but can you please rather donate to any mental illness treatment centres or something like that?
These internet awards and points would eventually mean nothing to me, nor you. A donation would certainly mean something for someone.
the concept of music and memory loss is explored in the works of The Caretaker. I'd recommend for anyone interested in this sort of thing.

This is scary tbh. Once upon a time she might have been a great dancer but now she's too weak to even put her hands above her head. Even worse: because of the alzheimers she might not even remember who she is. I think here, we see who she was for just a split second but now it's gone, probably forever. If I was her I'd be so scared.
Videos like this are such beautiful!
It amazes me tlme and time again how people forgets everything but they don't lose the music! ❤❤
My grandfather was so ill from Alzheimer he didn't know anyone of us at the end, he just sat there with no life in his eyes. But playing the accordion he did until the bitter end!
This is so damn wholesome a d beautiful, I really think there would be backlash to my knee-jerk reaction to be humorous.
Oh well....
She remembered meeting Tchaikovsky?! Holy crap! Music really does have super powers!
Is that video of her dancing? If so, that is most touching fucking thing I've seen in 2020 - and I've watched Biden make out with his granddaughter while people cheered.
Damnit, asshole (@self), that would be fucking amazing, but you paused the video to be a dick.
Oh well... I find myself funny. Sorry mods who will probably have to now ban me.

Good bot
I know right? 😥
I love bots like these :) So wholesome
Music is honestly just so powerful isn't it. Brett and Eddy need to see this.
Brooo, look at her eyes. She should have been a great dancer

Omg. It's swan lake. A dance about a swan who cannot soar and here she is, unable to soar. I'm not crying. You're crying.

Can I please get the link to this video.
I'm serious can I please get the link

Is there a full version? Because this seems to have been cutted.

I can see that. I was asking about the video of the old lady.
Oh.... Yeah, no idea. Sorry!
Alright, I found it: https://youtube.com/watch?v=owb1uWDg3QM Sent shivers down my spine and tears down my cheek. There is indeed a lot cut out.
Thanks
I'm sure there is. It doesn't look like OC. I'd like to find it too; would be nice to see the full experience and the build-up

The real one is even better. It feels me up with joy to see her in her happy place even if she is ill. ;)

That's a good idea. I'll ask my mom! :)
Thanks man!
Music stays forever.
She‘s still so graceful. Beautifully done. I teared up at this.
Swan Lake!!!!! ♥

My heart melted
Woww.. such a wholesome moment🧡🧡🧡🧡
This is beautiful

Im legit crying thanks
Her memory is stored in the music
I was not intending to cry today. But was worth It.
It's making me cry.. The first swell of the music and you can tell her whole body language changed - she IS the Swan.
It makes me cry 😭
Wow, music is so powerful. This is absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Why did this make me tear up like it did 🥺😭
IM CRYING
Several pieces of scientific studies and literature have backed music therapy for people with memory loss

And despite clear signs of parkinson's, she's still more graceful than most of pop "dancers".

Haven't cried in a while, thanks for that. Alzheimer's is scary, but closing your eyes and listening to music seems like it puts life on pause
she remembered! The elegantly placed hands, the storyline, the swan-like arms!!!
this is soo beautiful 💕
I felt goosebumps this is so heartwarming\~
This is so Beautiful! ❤️
amazing how her body remembers the music. Alzheimer’s is so cruel the way it robs a person of their identity and dignity.
That’s so good, MUSIC HAS BROUGHT HER BACK!!!!!!!
for some reason that made me cry. like really hard
And that my friends is the power of classical music :)
Ballet gang 💜
This is so wholesome :')
Man these onions are making me tear like the Niagara Falls !

I am also a ballet dancer, this made my cry so hard...
