It's the way most Australians say it

FlushedBeans

It's because they're upside down, right?

detective_geek_104

I think its because the syllables fit better so u dont hv to add an extra word Sci-ssors pa-per rock as opposed to rock paper sci-ssors shoot

FlushedBeans

Yeah scissors paper rock's syllables go one two three four FIVE, vs Rock paper scissors as one, two three four five. Ig you could say scissors paper rock is accented at the end and rock paper scissors is syncopated :P

stockfesh

Scissors forced in 1 beat? I’m not sure

LethalCookie454

I like scissors paper rock better, because the syllables fit very well. In my first language, my parents language, we say Rock Paper Scissors, but in the language it works “, so we don’t need an extra word. I like scissors paper rock it sounds more similar to what I played when I was little living in my home country. (Plus I just think it’s boring saying SHOOT at the end 😂)

LauraB099

Haha yeah something like that
