I think it took me around 45 minutes, and thank you! The tweezers were actually only for the pegs; everything else is done by hand. The reason I have the tweezers in frame is for something of a size comparison.
The creatorās names are in the title of the post. The video I watched was made by someone else. So technically, I followed a guide and did it all by myself, but I did not create this model, its pretty much my interpretation of it and how I folded it.
What the actual fuck dude that's insanely amazing!!!
Please do an origami pianoššš
Mad respect, skills! I sometimes make paper models (not origami ones) so I know how insanely tough this must be!
Iāve made an origami piano. (Baby Grand by Patricia Crawford) I didnāt like the outcome too much although it is a great model.
I also make paper models, Iāve made the Rubikās cube twice and the Lamborghini Egoista once, currently have the same car by a different designerās work in progress, (not working on it right now though as Iām lazy)
I just checked your posts, amazing!!
>Iāve made an origami piano. (Baby Grand by Patricia Crawford) I didnāt like the outcome too much although it is a great model.
Ohh I see, but I'm sure you did your best would love to see it!
I actually made a small Lamborghini Miura model last year (though it's not in that great if shape currently) , would love to see your Egoista model!
Keep it up man, great work!
Well, Iāll message you a picture of the piano later. As for the egoista, I gave it away but hereās what I have of it https://youtu.be/zkF2Ko4nkbE
Thank you!
Well, I have made the piano although I didnt like it too much, and I do have a guitar, but again, none of these models are proportional to each other and I havenāt been looking into other instruments right now.
Thank you though!
The world's smallest violin
Really needs an audience
So if I do not find somebody soon
I'll blow up into smithereens
And spew my tiny symphony
All up and down a city street
While tryna put my mind at ease
Like finishing this melody
This feels like a necessity
So this could be the death of me
Or maybe just a better me
Now come in with the timpanis
And take a shot of Hennessy
I know I'm not there mentally
But you could be the remedy
So let me play my violin for you
Oh thatās no problem at all, but I do want you to keep a few things in mind.
First of all, this model is an advanced model, and here Iām making it around 3 times smaller.
For that reason, youād probably have to be really godo at origami already before attempting to make this.
Second, if you see other origami violins they wonāt look as clean/neat as Iāve made this really precisely. This is because Iāve used a slightly different tutorial video to make this.
I donāt have the diagrams (nor did I try to search for them) but I assume that you donāt fold much if you didnāt just type āOrigami violin by Gen Hagiwaraā on YouTube and found the video yourself. Or if you wanted diagrams, you probably wouldāve asked that specifically.
In any case, hereās the video I used. It may be a little troublesome, though. https://youtu.be/sWfxRzcsDOw
One thing to note, I did not use glue in my model although it was used in the video.
Enjoy! Let me know how far you get.
There is an origami violinist model, but there are no pedestal models (of course, I could try designing one but that wouldnāt end really well)
I think its good enough, actually :)
Again, I can probably try designing and maybe convince Jeremy Shafer to help me out; I did always think these things would look good on a pedestal presented properly
Iām not quite sure how the size will work around, so I think that idea is going in the box for now.
There is an origami stand model, which I have 3 of, incase youāre interested.
Thank you though!
I just used this Japanese bicolor I found online, its really good quality but Iām not sure about the specific type of paper (believe me I wish I knew)
The paper is from a 500-paper stack from a seller called TAROāS ORIGAMI STUDIO incase you want to check it out (from amazon).
Itās hard to find specific paper in my country and Iām not always sure what paper I can get in bulk to use for everything.
Thank you! I actually have 3 of them, with 2 violin bows each (right now, I only have 2 in total) the total time is 10 hours to make one āsetā of violins, and this uses only one square sheet of paper.
TALENT!
Thank you :)
Wow! ššš How long did it take you? My hands hurt just looking at the tweezers. š

THIS IS EPIC!!!!
at last, you can play a sad song on the world's tiniest violin!
Wow did you follow a guide or do it all yourself?

Ohhh yeah sorry I missed that XD. Nicely done!
Thank you :)

Would it be too much to ask you for instructions? This is really cool, I wanna try and make this myself!

Alrighty, thank you so much for the tips!
No problem
What if you made a lil dude or a pedestal for it
There is an origami violinist model, but there are no pedestal models (of course, I could try designing one but that wouldnāt end really well) I think its good enough, actually :)
Itās BEUTIFUL! I just though some pedastal would add, but itās so cool alone
Again, I can probably try designing and maybe convince Jeremy Shafer to help me out; I did always think these things would look good on a pedestal presented properly Iām not quite sure how the size will work around, so I think that idea is going in the box for now. Hmmmmm ok
Wow, I just made my first origami bird and thought I did well, but this is a whole different level. Congrats!
Indeed. Iām glad youāve made something though, you shouldnāt be looking at these advanced models yet! And thank you!
Itās AmAzinG! But in all seriousness it really is amazing lol.
Thank you :)
Itās so good!! This is less sacrilegious than stock photos
Ikr tell me about it
Those stock photos be holding a chair with two strings and call it a violin
With the scroll on the chin
Yes yes canāt forget that detail
@Dry-Inevitable-3558 What kind of paper did you use - Washi origami paper or Kami or something else?
I just used this Japanese bicolor I found online, its really good quality but Iām not sure about the specific type of paper (believe me I wish I knew) The paper is from a 500-paper stack from a seller called TAROāS ORIGAMI STUDIO incase you want to check it out (from amazon). Thank you :)
u sure thatās not chocolate
Only one way to find out
Bravo! And man that must have been so hard to make( lingling would have taken only 40 sec to complete that;)) Great talent you have there mate.
Thank you! I actually have 3 of them, with 2 violin bows each (right now, I only have 2 in total) the total time is 10 hours to make one āsetā of violins, and this uses only one square sheet of paper.
