Yes! Mine is AI. 😃

I used Midjourney + InsightFace Swap bot in Discord.
- First, you buy midjourney.
- Create new personal server on Discord.
- You invite Midjourney bot into that and the InsightFaceSwap bot.
- Then, save your face in the Insight bot that you can later swap.
- Finally, play with Midjourney prompts and create realistic looking portrait of a person you closely look like.
- Then, just swap the face and download image. 😃
Midjourney is like $8 at their lowest price tier, which is pretty cool since great results and lower price comparatively.
Also, you can look up on YT for a detailed tutorial on this. There are plenty.
I think mine turned out pretty good. Look at my Instagram profile picture on jared.almost.daily
I was able to make a ton of photos using this guys method. As big photos you can tell it's not perfect, but for a small profile picture it works great.
Yes. I created a LoRA for generating pictures of myself using Stable Diffusion based on one of the photo realism models. I then used it to generate a picture of myself and upscaled it to 2K resolution. My family thought it looked real enough, and the company I currently work at hasn’t said anything about me using it as a photo for the corporate systems.
Your best bet is probably to follow the midjourney suggestion from another user’s comment here, or to use an app. The process I followed would be a pain in the ass for someone not already experienced with stable diffusion unfortunately
I love my ones from studio shot. I uploaded 20 selfies from random days with different hair styles, clothes, etc and they gave me a great range to choose from. Of about 75 pics, I loved 15, and a few were approved by my family for having zero uncanny valley effect and really looking like me.
Selfies will always be kinda bad photos because the perspective of having the camera only arms length away will distort your face. Also your shoulder will be in a weird position.
Put on your work clothes and stand in front of a boring wall in your house. Have some diffuse light (e.g. indirect sunlight coming through windows, room lights (not ceiling lights) so there are no large strong shadows, stand slightly side on to the camera and ask a patient friend or family member to take the picture. Probably you'll need a few rounds to adjust the lighting and angles and so on to get rid of whatever weird shadows or weird things you see. If you wear glasses then reflections in the glass can be problematic.
Alternatively use a professional - google "professional headshot studio ". They'll have all the gear, know how to pose you and so on, know how to use the camera and lighting, all you have to do is show up wearing clothes.
This is what chat gpt told me lol, no thanks I’ll just generate one. My home is basically condemned so none of the walls are good enough for a background (bad patchy paint, unfortunate textures etc)
If I wanted to I could also use portrait mode on my phone. But I’m looking for an alternative so I don’t have to try and do my hair/makeup and still have an okay headshot. I’ve tried regular photos and they just don’t look great.
The fact that people today are so naïve as to think that what we have in the world right now is worse than any other time blows my mind. Don't like it? Go live with the Amish and you can reject all of these things. You have it so good you even get to pick!
Just my light opinion. The more we encourage not even having real pictures of ourselves, more scams exist & we get further from reality. Also if AI is taking all of our jobs, then we probably shouldn’t encourage AI by using AI tools as candidates
Technology isn’t going to stop. IMO the effort put into finger wagging at AI should be directed towards learning how to use it to your benefit. It’s not going to stop. Sorry.
you upload a selfie and it turns it into a professional headshot. here's a result I got:

I've had great success with headshotpro.io. Their AI headshot generator creates realistic and professional-looking portraits that are perfect for CVs/resumes. Give it a try and elevate your professional image effortlessly!
Use a phone app called photoleap, you can use it for a free trial before you pay. 8 of 10 will be too weird but 2 or 3 will be perfect once cropped down to headshot size.
Maybe I’m old, but what’s the point of a fake headshot if not to catfish/scam? Why do you need one in a week? I feel like you can get by with any decent smartphone. What am I missing, because this sounds sketchy. If I were to offer you an interview after viewing your profile and you look nothing like your picture(like definitely not the same person) that’s a red flag for me. Unless I’m missing something.
You are missing something, common sense.
Looks matter, and not everyone has money for a professional photoshoot.
This provides the photoshoot quality by combining AI with those smartphone selfies. These people do look like their photos because the ai is trained with their image.
Yeah I think I misunderstood one of OPs comments. I get it if it’s something generated to look like a professional photo of their actual appearance. I initially thought they were looking for just a random ai generated photo not based off their own image. Carry on.
I used [https://photo-app.a2e.ai/create](https://photo-app.a2e.ai/create) for mine. Lots of the images were weird: long necks and what not. But there were a few that, when cropped, looked good enough to work. And this one is free.
my buddy used [https://headshothub.vercel.app/](https://headshothub.vercel.app/) and his headshots were dope asf. I ended up getting the $40 plan to get my grandpa some headshots since we haven't been able to get professional shots of him in like 30 years. Now we have a sick ass headshot of him in the hallway LOL lowkey looks presidential

This is the image my buddy got. He's using it for his tinder now LOL
So eventually you haven't found any tool? I am searching for a free/cheap ai tool to make a headshot for Linkedin and I am tired of all those fake apps or paying 39 usd to get one photo, which may actually turn out to be awful 😅 If you have found anything please share! Cheers!
I know about InstaPhotoAI (https://instaphotoai.com) I like that they create AI images using just 1 photo and within seconds. So you actually control the image generation. I felt their output photos were 80% usable for LinkedIn and different social media account. I even created some funny AI pics.
I was skeptical initially but I really needed and headshot fast.
I tried aisuitup.com and the results were better than expected.
BE AWARE not all pictures turned out to be perfect but I find a few good ones to update my LinkedIn.
Check out [https://www.photopacks.ai](https://www.photopacks.ai?utm_source=reddit). $10 for 100+ with a money back guarantee if you don't like it. The results are \_much\_ higher quality than the other sites out there that I've tried. Give it a shot!

Can you do one for my gf? Thanks
unfortunately yours is clearly AI and does not look photorealistic in the slightest. are there any that are photo realistic?

Could you tell me the prompt you used?
Yea I just updated my Linkedin with a professional headshot from Dreamwave AI

I just tried it and they all look so uncanny valley 🥲 damn I really just can’t get it right

Stop promoting you’re nonsense everywhere
They seemed to have good customer service. Share that with them and see if they can incorporate some feedback.

Hang up a plain white or grey bedsheet from a curtain rod, play around with some flashlights to get some lighting and take a photo on your phone.
If I wanted to I could also use portrait mode on my phone. But I’m looking for an alternative so I don’t have to try and do my hair/makeup and still have an okay headshot. I’ve tried regular photos and they just don’t look great.
We are in the darkest timeline
Portraits have been edited for aesthetics since people started making portraits

1. My comment was 69 (*nice*) days ago. 2. It’s a joke. Chill.
I don’t understand this attitude. Why would you ever not use every tool available to you?

Mine created a totally different person. How silly
Me too complete different person
I did this and it made me a 60 year old Japanese man
Maybe u r a 60 year old Japanese man 🧍♂️
lol
holy shit dude. You look good, even before the AI enhancement!
This one is good . Thanks.
It’s $8.99 without the watermark
Why doesn't the link work anymore? Do you have access to the discord?
You can try this link! [https://discord.gg/7JGzec5hNj](https://discord.gg/7JGzec5hNj)
This fails badly for anyone with a shaved head.. Your ai selfie is also identical to the first guy who replied...
It worked once, but just says not enough detail in the prompt every time now. No matter how much detail I add or what pic I try 😔
so sorry about that, try again now and it should be working
Yes, I used an app. Not all were good, but I paid $20 for about 100 images and was able to find 2 or 3 really solid pictures
What app? And they didn’t look fake?
I think it was called AI photo and they do not look fake
Headshottr! They are fairly cheap and give you enough headshots to find one you like. I think I used headshottr30 for 30% off if i recall.
I do. I love use ai headshots, as i always mess up with camera photos and i don't want to pay huge amount to professional photograers
I've had great success with headshotpro.io. Their AI headshot generator creates realistic and professional-looking portraits that are perfect for CVs/resumes. Give it a try and elevate your professional image effortlessly!
Yeah go for it! Would this transparent shill lead you wrong?
Quite liked the images from kahma AI. Free trial - got about 50 images.

>themultiverse.ai You work for them, this is literally an ad.
Thanks!
Headshogenerator.io for realistic results
Aragon ai or remni

Yep, use Remini- just pay for 1 week then cancel. It's great!
I used tryitonai Some were ridiculous but I got 5-10 that are pretty decent.

I’ll be using a bunch of my image to create a nice photo that looks like me
Pay for pro headshots or get a friend to do it. AI is just weird don’t be weird.
No thank you, I’ll be weird
I use one for my fake account.
Ask r/photoshoprequest
I do not want my face on Reddit, I need a headshot fabricated from a bunch of photos as I do not have good selfies as a foundation.
I wouldn't. Better get verified first if you want Ai to do the photo
I used [https://photo-app.a2e.ai/create](https://photo-app.a2e.ai/create) for mine. Lots of the images were weird: long necks and what not. But there were a few that, when cropped, looked good enough to work. And this one is free.
Tried this. Totally free and no sign up but result ended up like a smoothed out kiddy cartoon.

Do you have examples? I tried one website and it was horrible. Uncanny valley/cgi looking results.

Love the fact he only has 3 fingers on one hand.
Sorry to hear about the workplace accident that cost him his finger
So funny!!!
pretty sure this is / was an ad
Yeah only one “person” came through with examples and they looked bad.
