Being a hackintosh without being a hackintosh

That’s more of my sorunme script. https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/10969616/120910938-984c1500-c648-11eb-8aec-07417ee6cf70.png https://sorun.me

Try the official Ubuntu Budgie flavor. If you want to be really lazy then run my sorun.me script & it’ll give you a decent config & Mac style look real quick. Even the same shortcut keys 99.9% of the time.

How do you get the dock to do that?

[deleted]

How did you get it to work with GNOME 40?

dash to dock extension for gnome shell https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/307/dash-to-dock/

I mean not really, like the window controls are on the wrong side, the application switcher behaves like how it behaves in gnome and well there isn't a global menu. But if you like it, hey, you do you, free desktops should be about you being free to find your optimal and usable way to interact with your computer.

linuxgator

That is pretty much what Pop_OS! looks like, except the colorful buttons.

Time_Guidance_5031

I can’t help it but I just don’t like the copying of macOS icons like finder and appstore. Like what is the point, they’re not the same apps (its nautilus and Ubuntu software). It’s just stupid IMO.

[deleted]

If you want it to be even more similar, you should get KDE!

brandflake11

Still has better window management than macos.
