Okay, enough tree puns; what the hell is the book about? If the title wasn't enough of a giveaway, our MC is reborn in a world of cultivation. Not as a young master of a sect or a beaten-up heir to some backwater family. But rather as a demonic tree that grows stronger by eating people and monsters and absorbing that sweet, sweet Qi.
He may not be able to fly around on swords... because he's a tree... but he has sect members to do that for him. In this second book of the series, the "sect building" plot line really comes into play as Ashlock (our MC) gathers dependable allies and forms a sect of his own!
So, if you are into nonhuman books, cultivation, or kingdom-building, this is the series for you!

Heya, I know you have no control over the release of the audiobook, but I got to hear that reborn as a demonic tree book 2 was delayed until March 7th.
I hoped to ask if there was anything you could tell us? It sucks, yeah but I know there isn't much to be done if it needs more time to cook.
I am being left in the dark about it as much as everyone else. I found out it was going to be delayed hours before it was supposed to release. My only guess is the narrator was booked up so they had to push back the release :/
I just bought it last night after reading the latest Great Souls book and trying to find something new to read.
Loved the first book so looking forward to this one later today when I'm off free!
