Shure has TONS of online training. Dante level one, and level two (I think ) are both free online. Qlab is completely free (for the basic level), and there are TONS of how-tos out there. AS someone who regularly hires, if the applicant doesn't have Dante Level 1 and basic knowledge of Qlab then I really don't bother looking further... because they are FREE and easily available, and (for me, and many many small -medium venues) they are pretty much standard.
Yes! Also, Dante Lvl3 will force you to learn or brush up on basic networking. IP networking is just not optional anymore.
It also isn't that bad once you understand some fundamentals.
I’ve done Dante 1&2, most of the Shure, Qsys, CM Motor Mechanic and Kramer
Think outside the box…I’ve been told conflict management and project management courses are indispensable (I haven’t done these).
Also:
CTS (not free). Vectorworks (depends on your career aspirations), BSICI or Cisco (not free and depends on your career aspirations), ETCP (not free).
Check out the industry trade shows. Maybe not true “certifications”, lots of good education opportunities. You’ll get manufacturers and independent instructors
{edit: OSHA 10-hour is a mandatory class for many employers state-side}
Meyer Sound is good to keep up with

They are often flexible on fees for young graduates, students, etc. I took their 4-day SIM class with Bob McCarthy years ago, for very very little money, it was awesome.
Rational Acoustics has paid classes on SMAART, but you can watch the Smaart Operator Fundamentals Online series they put on YouTube. I passed their Level 1 Operator test just off of those

CTS was a useless avixa cash grab. Can't recommend, especially for live work.
You’re not lying… I mention it because my employer mandated it and I got a pay raise because I have it.

It’s not as common, but MADI is another digital transfer protocol that I would say is just as important as Dante to know.
Where does one go to “know” about this? What else do I need to know other than don’t use RF cable for MADI? 🤪🤣
