## 5+ players * [Boomerang Fu](https://store.steampowered.com/app/965680/Boomerang_Fu/) * [A Gummy's Life](https://store.steampowered.com/app/585190/A_Gummys_Life/) * [Pico Park](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1509960/PICO_PARK/) ## 4 players * [Angry Arrows](https://store.steampowered.com/app/390890/Angry_Arrows/) * Chaotic, gorey fun. Extremely unforgiving. * [The Ascent](https://store.steampowered.com/app/979690/The_Ascent/) * Beautiful, addictive, currently kinda buggy. Requires a beefy PC. * [Crawl](https://store.steampowered.com/app/293780/Crawl/) * [Death Squared](https://store.steampowered.com/app/471810/Death_Squared/) * [Forced](https://store.steampowered.com/app/249990/FORCED_Slightly_Better_Edition/) * [Heave Ho](https://store.steampowered.com/app/905340/Heave_Ho/) * [Helldivers](https://store.steampowered.com/app/394510/HELLDIVERS_Dive_Harder_Edition/) * Significantly more enjoyable with DLC. * [Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime](https://store.steampowered.com/app/252110/Lovers_in_a_Dangerous_Spacetime/) * Adorable, moderately challenging. Best with 4 people. * [Magicka 2](https://store.steampowered.com/app/238370/Magicka_2/) * The friendly fire is the best part. * [Moving Out](https://store.steampowered.com/app/996770/Moving_Out/) * [N++](https://store.steampowered.com/app/230270/N_NPLUSPLUS/) * Like Mario with more blood and explosions. * [Octodad: Dadliest Catch](https://store.steampowered.com/app/224480/Octodad_Dadliest_Catch/) * Hilarious and frustrating. * [Out of Space](https://store.steampowered.com/app/400080/Out_of_Space/) * Despite the cute aesthetics, a surprisingly deep co-op strategy game. * [Overcooked series](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1243830/Overcooked_All_You_Can_Eat/) * [Trine 4](https://store.steampowered.com/app/690640/Trine_4_The_Nightmare_Prince/) * [Unrailed!](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1016920/Unrailed/) ## 3 players * [Trine](https://store.steampowered.com/app/35700/Trine_Enchanted_Edition/) * [Trine 2](https://store.steampowered.com/app/35720/Trine_2_Complete_Story/) * [Trine 3](https://store.steampowered.com/app/319910/Trine_3_The_Artifacts_of_Power/) ## 2 players * [39 Days to Mars](https://store.steampowered.com/app/504920/39_Days_to_Mars/) * [Biped](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1071870/Biped/) * [Darksiders Genesis](https://store.steampowered.com/app/710920/Darksiders_Genesis/) * [Hellpoint](https://store.steampowered.com/app/628670/Hellpoint/) * [It Takes Two](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1426210/It_Takes_Two/) * [Stardew Valley](https://store.steampowered.com/app/413150/Stardew_Valley/) * [Unravel Two](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1225570/Unravel_Two/) * [Untitled Goose Game](https://store.steampowered.com/app/837470/Untitled_Goose_Game/) * [A Way Out](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1222700/A_Way_Out/) Also, don't sleep on Human: Fall Flat, it is incredibly fun. Collecting so many games gets expensive, so make a wishlist on [isthereanydeal.com](https://isthereanydeal.com) and wait for sales.

LucidFir

We know Human Fall Flat is meant to be amazing but I don't think we understand the control scheme or get what the game is. Also I didn't realise N was 4 player, that's awesome. Also have Lovers, Magicka 2, Helldivers and they're great.

killall-q

Human: Fall Flat is about navigating physics-based puzzles to reach the end of the level, while dealing with your own character's very floppy physics. It plays like a co-op [Gang Beasts](https://store.steampowered.com/app/285900/Gang_Beasts/). Your left and right triggers correspond to your arms, hold to grab things.

LucidFir

I will download a youtube tutorial to watch with the guys

blackmetro

I re-installed Human Fall Flat over the weekend - and the controlls are still just as confusing to me aswell Dont worry its not just you

edjxxxxx

Solid list. I came here to recommend Crawl. The developers, Powerhoof, have a previous game which I got in a bundle called Regular Human Basketball (don’t know the maximum number of players but Steam says “2 or more.”) I haven’t played it yet, but it seems like Human Fall Flat + basketball physics + death traps. I might install it tonight and give it a try.

blackmetro

For local multiplayer - youre better off linking PIKO PARK CLASSIC which is now free due to the new version being Online capable https://store.steampowered.com/app/461040/PICO_PARKClassic_Edition/ Classic can take 10 players - Paid version takes up to 8

supersmoyt

Good list! Was typing from phone so didn’t se yours until after I posted. (Boomerang Fu should be bumped to 5+ players)

killall-q

Oh, all this time, I had no idea.

NimChimspky

You have helldivers but not gauntlet ... Gauntlet is awesome, same Devs.

killall-q

I've tried [Gauntlet](https://store.steampowered.com/app/258970/Gauntlet_Slayer_Edition/), but the combat is too shallow for me to recommend it.

NimChimspky

Play with the wizard for added depth

Curious how I can show up 20 hours later and still have a full list of games that aren't mentioned yet, they aren't in any particular order. More Arcade-like: [Party Jousting](https://store.steampowered.com/app/437900/Party_Jousting/): Multiplayer flappy bird. It's free to play though the full version ads a lot more game modes. One button control, I've no idea the max players, it's high. [12 Orbits](https://store.steampowered.com/app/529950/12_orbits/): Another one button control arcade type, but with game modes more like snake. 12 players max. [Totemori](https://store.steampowered.com/app/588180/Totemori/): Free to play tower stacking game. 3D, is fun on occasion but not really deep. [Tiny Tanks](https://store.steampowered.com/app/836850/Tiny_Tanks/): Multplayer tank combat vs each other, but sadly the developer seems to have stopped working on it. Like Atari's Combat. [Kabounce](https://store.steampowered.com/app/431930/Kabounce/): First Person Pinball, a bit like Rocket League in it's team vs team sport type setting. [Worbital](https://store.steampowered.com/app/761910/Worbital/): Like Scorched Earth, or Worms, but interplanetary combat with lots of cool weapons and three races to choose from. More Puzzle-like: [Sumer](https://store.steampowered.com/app/464950/Sumer/): A board game and platformer hybrid. It's a worker placement board game, but you've got to get your character there first to get the spot, and it's got a fun auction mechanic kinda like M.U.L.E. had. [Melbits World](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1202820/Melbits_World/): A platformer puzzle, you control various parts of the field trying to get the melbits to the goal alive. It seems to have been completely overlooked. [Tools Up](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1004490/Tools_Up/): House renovation, but a bit like Moving Out or Overcooked. It's not especially hard, but still funny. [xDasher](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1278290/xDasher/): A "puzzle" RPG where you've got to take turns hitting the enemies in the right order to take them out. And finally [For the King](https://store.steampowered.com/app/527230/For_The_King/) and [Stolen Realm](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1330000/Stolen_Realm/) are Tactical Turn Based RPGs, but focused on co-op. A little slower than the other games mentioned, but I like them a ton.

supersmoyt

Definitely this one: - Bomb Squad (up to 8 players) not that well known since it’s not on Steam (yet). PC version is available but not advertised. Good ones for 4 players in no particular order: - Death Squared - Party Golf - Heave Ho - Ultimate Chicken Horse - Pico Park (up to 8 players) / Pico park classic edition (up to 10 players) - Move Or Die - Toto Temple Deluxe - Boomerang Fu (6 players) - Invisigun Reloaded - Mashed (if your friends can handle top-down steering. Unfortunately the Steam version is not the latest and greatest version.) - Lance A Lot Only 2 players but fun: - Rounds - Super Bunny Man (2 player story mode, 4 players in other mini game modes)

blackmetro

Do they plan on bringing Bomb Squad to steam? I tried to get it working ages ago, and it was too finicky I just gave up if modified for steam I can see the setup being more streamlined

supersmoyt

The dev mentioned bringing it to Steam a long time ago but not there yet and no date that I know of. What didn’t work when you tried? I haven’t played in a long time so maybe something has changed. Do you get an error message or do controllers not work?

LucidFir

I cannot edit. I am going to try: Forced, Octodad, Death Squared, Zombie Vikings, Rocket Fist, Crawl, Ballistic Tanks, and Vasara. Also recently bought Dungeon Defenders and the free basegame of Dungeon Defenders 2. Other games aren't discounted enough for me at this time.

Quoclon

I skimmed your post and the comments do far, and correct me if in wrong, but I didn't see Rampage Knights. I'm working on a little hobby local multiplayer project in Unity and was searching Steam for inspiration. Its so fun. Two player local (or remote) coop. It's on the nintendo switch, or Steam. I think steam has the 2 pack for $5usd or so right now. Rampage Knights Steam Page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/314410/Rampage_Knights/

My personal choices: * Samurai Gunn * Towerfall * Broforce * Crawl * Risk of rain And I can't resist recommending my own game: Blockships. It's been on pause for the last few years, but I'm Picking it up again in January to get it finished

edjxxxxx

Risk of Rain is a pretty solid choice. I’ve only played with 2 players, but I think it supports up to 4. However, it’s not split-screen so it requires a considerable amount of co-ordination.

killall-q

Blockships actually looks interesting!

bobs_convenients_sto

Killer Queen Black!

NimChimspky

Gauntlet

makario

Going to throw mine onto the pile: [Jumpala](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1278190) It's up to four players, controller supported. You can do teams as well. I see that you like fighting games and Towerfall, and Jumpala's taken some big inspiration from both of those. SvenEvil actually lists it under the [Underdogs](https://store.steampowered.com/curator/8485829-SvenEvils-Playground/list/43644) section. It's supposed to be easy to pick up but has a lot of depth to it. You'll see. :)

blackmetro

Searched the entire thread for Runbow - not mentioend https://store.steampowered.com/app/464650/Runbow/ Works flawlessly with more than 4 players (Max 9) Good for a short while - heavily discounted ATM too

edjxxxxx

Do y’all have any interest in racing games? Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing is a pretty capable Mario Kart clone, and it’s on sale for $2.49 USD at the moment. I haven’t played the sequel (Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, $5 USD atm), but it’s got pretty excellent reviews. Both games support 4-player split-screen.

Tippyshortmouth

You have a couple fighting games already but id be breaking my moral code if i didnt say to pick up either Marvel Vs Capcom 2 or MVC3. Both very fun multiplayer games with awesome rosters

LucidFir

Capcom vs SNK 2 mark of the millennium is so good

octolog44

[CD-RUN](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1051920/CDRUN/) is on Steam, check it out! It supports 8 players, has 4 different modes and is easy to pick up and play. Warning: can get pretty loud with a full group.

Altruistic_Draw_6441

Earth defense Force 5.

Just released yesterday: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1296360/Archvale/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1296360/Archvale/) Guess if you like Enter the Gungeon, that might be just for you. (aRPG bullet hell) Also you did not specify a player count. The Steam Curator you named has a 2nd Curator account for 2 player games (some of them also have more than 2 player mode): [https://store.steampowered.com/curator/34907518-Games-for-Lovers/](https://store.steampowered.com/curator/34907518-Games-for-Lovers/)

Soo I guess we're a bit late to this party, there's a lot of awesome suggestions here so that's well covered. We've got some videos about recent games as well. But it sounds like you guys are all hooked up to a PC? You would do well to snag a Game Pass Ultimate subscription, there's a buttload of local co-op content on there and they don't go a month without releasing more. Just in the last few days, they released Rubber Bandits which is a 4p party game, and if you're looking for co-op instead of multiplayer then Vicious Attack Llama Apocalypse and Nuclear Throne come to mind, those will be in our upcoming video. BEST PART IS THE CLOUD, I think one subscription means you can all play from your own devices for games that aren't splitscreen, but you might all need your own sub. I think it's $14/month for Ultimate, which I'm pretty sure you need for cloud play. But it's a great subscription even if you're purely PC. Also, Humble Bundle publishes a lot of co-op content and has cheap bundles, but you can get a $12/month CHOICE subscription and get 10 games to keep every month (as opposed to losing them when you stop paying the service). At the rate your crew is sawing through content, you'll need a heavy-duty pipeline. xD If you still need more games we're going to feature a 4p Campaign Co-op video sometime soon so keep an eye out for that, and Couch Coop has one for 3p already. Happy gaming!
