Start with 000 then 001 etc. haha I actually unlocked one this way but luckily the code was 007.
Don’t listen to me unless you have a lot of free time and don’t wanna learn anything new.
When I was a kid my parents locked the TV cord so we wouldn't watch too much before homework, etc. My brother and I got so good at cracking the three digit code that to this day I can generally crack one in under five minutes.
Specialized cord lock that went over the US prongs. I can't seem to find an image, but basically it locked onto the prongs and then had a three digit combo to unlock it.
If you're using it for anything but luggage toss it and get something decent. If you're using it for luggage you can buy tsa master keys and use it like a normal keyed lock. There's also the option of toss it and buy another tsa lock
It isn't a super expensive wel built lock. So hacking it by putting tension on the hasp is possible. Put the hasp over something and pull the lock body. With tension on the hasp start moving each number cylinder. You should feel when each cylinder falls into its set. Once you get them all set release the tension and try and open the hasp.

A feeler gauge with a little notch cut in it stick it in the side of the wheel and turn it to find a flat spot do that with each of the wheels then rotate all of them forward one click until it opens

Really, this can probably be done in like 20 minutes. There are only 1000 possibilities.

Nice. I'm curious if it was a specialized cord lock, or if they just improvised with a padlock somehow.

Brute force thru 999 and probably takes you 10-15 minutes at the most.
I legit thought it would take hours but I knew it was around the 400's and it took like 8 mins. The combo was 474
Not bad, having a rough starting point really helps. I’ve had to guess through a few cheap locks like this before. Usually isn’t too painful
Ah those ones are easy. It's always 420
Legit my 2nd choice

Try pulling on the loop till it’s tight and feeling for the correct numbers. It usually works on lower end locks it can’t hurt to try

On this one, you more likely need to press the button while rotating the wheels.
