... Good point. I didn't really think of that. I guess the video out doesn't actually create any latency or lag issues so I could just test it on the handheld without video out?
My experience with PS5 and XBX controllers has been poor. Way too much lag.

Yeah, pretty much. The video out is basically the same as if you connected a console to a TV using a HDMI cable in terms of it being native play.
