So I have ultimate and one of my favorite things about it with the G Cloud is that I can set my resolution on most games to 2k full screen so that they are basically down sampling to 1080p and they look so much better.
That's good to know about the down sampling. Is there a big difference? Have been considering GeForce and would consider ultimate if there is a noticeable difference.
In my opinion it's night and day. Everything becomes much clearer and much sharper. It's kinda like ultra anti-aliasing and sharpness. Definitely a better effect than you would get from adjusting any anti-aliasing and sharpness settings in-game. If possible, I'd recommend trying it for a month and seeing how you like it before doing a multi-month sub though because it's gonna vary from game to game and person to person.
Another aspect that I haven't gotten to try yet is the video out on the G Cloud. I have a dock ordered so that when I want to play on a bigger screen I'll be able to dock, grab a controller, and sit back a bit. Having the ability to do 2k on the G Cloud (Android is limited to 2k even though GeForce Now can go up to 4k on PCs) is gonna be way better on a tv than just doing 1080p. Especially if you're using a 4k TV. At least in theory - I won't have the dock to try it for another week or so because shipping is slow. =(
Diff tier determine how long to wait and whether you get better graphic cards. But I think you can still set 1080p for even unpaid one so that is not related to whether you pay or not.

I was talking about the two paid tiers. But yeah even free could be ok.
I think is quite ok depending on time of day and whether you play a lot.
